22. Moving Forward

"My God Brenton, what did you do?" I was opening the door for him, as he was insisting on carrying our bags.

His studio was all messed up. Canvases scattered here and there. Paints, brushes were everywhere. My goodness, he had a fallout too, it was all because of me. I looked at him, he just shrugged.

I hugged him and rested my head on his chest. "I'm so sorry baby, I didn't know I hurt you too."

"I'm good now, let's just move on okay? I'm gonna tidy this up. Trisha is going to come here this afternoon and take all the paintings to her gallery. She's been hounding me for my works anyway. So, it's all good Nikki. I'm good. We're good." He put the bags down and let me go.
