CTB:LMR CHAPTER 1

For Reese Dahlia Sanchez, marriage is not rushed, it is carefully thought out, prepared or planned because marriage will only happen once in your life. You just have to choose the person you will marry and make sure you love the person you choose because when you enter the world of marriage you will never be able to go out.

But everything changed as her mother left her father. Their company started to go bankrupt and her father had to force her to marry Luis Mathew Ruiz.

Luis Mathew is the heir of the billionaire couple, they are the owners of the Ruiz Group of Company.

Ever since they got married, Lia has only experienced hardship and pain at the hands of her husband.

Today is their first night as a couple. Their parents took them to an expensive hotel.

Lia is currently in the hotel room, arranging their belongings. Although she finds it difficult to accept this marriage she still has no choice but to obey her father and be an obedient daughter.

She was arranging things when the bedroom door suddenly opened. She turned around and looked at it. Her heart pounded when she saw Luis enter.

He was holding wine in his hand and blushing; he was obviously drunk.

Luis approached her and looked straight into her eyes, Lia was even more nervous when she saw the anger in Luis' eyes. She could feel his anger at her. Luis grabbed Lia's shoulder hard, Lia's eyes widened in shock and fear. Slowly, Luis' face approached Lia, Lia tried to move away when she felt the man trying to kiss her.

He holds her shoulder and she's trying to move away but Luis is too strong. " Get away from me!" She said in a panicked voice

"What? Don't act like an innocent, this is what you wanted right?" He said and continued wrapping his hands on Lia's shoulder "You ruined my life by marrying you!" he said madly

"What do you mean? I don't understand" She said still trying to move Luis hands

"I see acting like a victim. You want this, your family wants me to marry you just for money. F*cking Gold digger!" He said and held Lia's chin " Listen, I will never love you, you are not the girl of my dreams. I promise to make you suffer in my hands and you will live in hell" He said

" "If I were you I would prepare myself. Because from now on your life will be hell!" He looked angrily into Lia's eyes and left, Lia took a deep breath in fear.

She understands that Luis is the one who's more affective in their arranged marriage. She's affective too but unlike Luis she likes him so it lessens the pain. And she agrees to the marriage but she doesn't know that Luis will be like this, she didn't expect his reaction and the anger in his eyes it's full of hatred.

In their marriage ceremony he didn't say anything. He's quiet.

When Luis left she breathed deeply trying to hold her tears. She ignores Luis' words and erases them in her mind. She's strong and she can do this for her father and their company. She doesn't want to disappoint her family. She's hoping Luis will change and will like her.

The whole evening she cried herself out. The worst honeymoon ever, this is not her dream wedding and honeymoon. Well what will she expect from a forced marriage?

When morning came she hurriedly packed their things and took a shower. Luis wants to leave early and she just agrees she doesn't want another fight with him.

Lia and Luis arrived in their mansion and from now on she will live there with him. Her heart feels weird and she feels bad about the idea of her leaving with Luis. It will never bring good, but she ignores her bad feelings and trusts her father's plan.

Luis appears bringing his own things. Looks like he will not help her in her suitcases, she let it pass and started searching for her things. She carries her one big suitcase and she almost cries because her suitcase is so heavy. She's searching for Luis and she saw him smirking in the hallway enjoying watching her misery. She looks at him in the eyes begging to help her but Luis turns his back and leaves.

She is interning in a big Mansion her new home now. She saw Luis sitting in the living room

"We will not sleep in the same room your room is next to mine." He said in a cold voice "Remember not to disturb me and don't ever try to inter in my room. He said

"Okey," she said feeling tired because of her heavy suitcase

"And don't expect me to be good at you, do whatever you want and I'll do whatever I want. Keep in mind we're not married, we're just married on paper." He said reminding her and it hurts her but she expected it.

It's 11:50 in the evening but she still can't sleep. She's still thinking about how Luis will deal with her. She forces herself to sleep.

The next day Lia woke up late. She got down and went straight to the kitchen. Luis appeared to him looking angry.

"Good morning madam" He said in a sarcastic voice but the anger was obvious on his face. Lia was immediately scared.

" Did you know it's noon? You are not the boss here. You wake up early to clean the house, you understand ?!" He said, looking straight at her.

" Yes, I understand, I'm sorry I won't repeat it " She said, afraid of what the husband might do.

His cellphone rang so he turned his attention to it. Lia looked at it. She saw her husband who looked happy to be talking. Then he left without even saying goodbye to her.

She was hurt again but she was about to perfect the word ignore.

She just prepared her lunch. Then she cleaned the house.

Even though her family is rich, she still knows something about housework. When she finished cleaning she was very tired. She just rested for a while and took a shower.

At night there was a knock so Lia opened it. When she opened the door she immediately saw him with a beautiful woman.

She was shocked at what she saw.

She wanted to ask her husband who was with him but he just passed by and hit her. The woman laughed at her, her blood boiled a bit in the two but she just chose to keep quiet.

She closed the gate and followed the two inside. Just a few steps later she saw the two kissing.

Anger filled her heart and she wanted to slap the two. She could not accept that her husband was cheating on her face to face in their house. But what can she do like the husband said, they just get married on paper.

She just turned around and secretly cried. She has no right to be hurt but why is she hurt? From the moment she married Luis she began to feel pain and suffering.

She was about to enter her room when she heard a loud noise. She was curious about it so she went in the direction where the noise came from and she was shocked and almost collapsed when she saw a shadow.
