CHAPTER 18: GIFT

I DRANK the bottle of beer that I’m holding while watching my guests having their euphoria. Father even sang his favorite song that he always sang before to my mother when she was still alive. But later on, he bid farewell to take a look with his chickens at the back of our house, and then after that he would finally take a rest. Manang Estrella also excused herself to feed the cats too.

Napukaw ang aking atensyon mula sa malakas na hiyawan. Nakita ko na nagkaro’n ng dance battle sa pagitan nina Coach Idy at Cindy. Humalakhak ako dahil walang nagpapatalo sa dalawa. Nakita ko naman si Dick namumula ang mukha na tila pilit na pinapahinto ang dalawa.
