Catching the Little Shit

Rescuers one by one saved the victims who were fighting for their lives in the middle of the sea. They even fought over buoys and struggled against each other to survive.

Divers descended into the depths of the sea, searching for the many people whose lifeless bodies were found there. These individuals had lost a lot of air and were drowning due to the significant amount of water filling their stomachs and throats.

"I don't know what happened to our leader. I can't believe he did this!" One of the gammas whispered to the beta, who was also standing nearby, watching the rescue efforts.

"This is something that happens all the time. Even our previous leader did the same thing just because of a lost gem," the beta replied. They stood proudly at the edge of the harbor, observing the numerous crying omegas who had lost their families.

The omegas whined and cursed at the Alpha for making such a hasty decision that day.

"There will be no good for the alpha! I curse him if my son does not return!" An elderly woman shouted loudly and was immediately comforted by a nearby warrior. The beta and gamma turned to look at the woman with pity.

"Poor thing."

"What if we were born among them?" the gamma asked.

"But we weren't born that way, were we?" a cold voice interrupted the conversation. The beta stepped towards her car and drove it to the castle.

Upon arriving at the castle, he received word that the Alpha was packing up.

"Packing? What does that mean?" the beta asked, his brow furrowed.

"I don't know, sir. But Mr. Dantley wishes to pack himself without the assistance of us servants," replied one of the servants, looking down.

"Very well, thank you."

Upon reaching his master's private room, the beta didn't bother knocking and simply opened the door abruptly.

"What is it?" Dantley seemed displeased by his right-hand man's intrusion.

"Why are you packing?" the beta inquired directly.

"Don't question me about that. Now tell me, what are the conditions at sea?"

"Bad, but thankfully many survived," he replied.

"Hmm, that's a relief. Make sure they don't try to challenge me just because some lives were lost."

"Quite a few survived, so don't worry, there won't be a rebellion. Now please tell me, where are you headed?"

"I'm going to the city," Dantley replied, hastily continuing to pack.

"What about the people? They're very angry with you for sinking the ships."

"But we saved them, didn't we?" Dantley met the beta's gaze, a sharper look from both eyelids.

"Do you need my assistance?" The beta immediately spoke up, changing the topic from their earlier discussion.

"No, I'm going alone to the human city. You can take care of our people here."

"Just for an omega girl, you're doing this?"

The question irritated Dantley, and he snorted hotly in response to his beta. He straightened up, returning his glare to his comrade.

"She's not just an omega girl. Unfortunately, fate has chosen her to be my mate!"

With that, Dantley left. He instructed the other subordinates to prepare a private ship for his journey to the human city.

"The human city is dangerous, Alpha!" the beta shouted as Dantley exited the castle. "Dantley Swiftclaw, stop!"

The man with pale skin and bright brown eyes turned around.

"You can't do this, brother. You're not accustomed to a human city, even though you've lived for a hundred years!"

"Don't say that," Dantley replied.

"But we don't know what the human world is like!"

"I've been there once, and it's no different from our country."

"But now the human world is more advanced, with taller buildings and streets full of cars and other vehicles. They even have better weapons," the Beta explained.

"Hmmm, does that worry you?"

"Humans don't readily accept other nations than their own."

"I'll see for myself when I get there. Are they really that hostile?"

"Think about your decision again."

At that moment, a young man appeared with news.

"Sorry, sir, for interrupting," the young man bowed. "Your private ship has been prepared by us, sir."

"Very well, thank you."

"Dantley! We don't know what enemies might exist in the human world."

"If there's an enemy, then I'll face it. You just need to stay calm."

The alpha left the scene and continued his journey. After a few hours of travel, he finally arrived in a desolate area. He deliberately chose such a place because it would be dangerous for him to be exposed in front of many mortals.

Using his true identity in the city would surely attract a lot of attention.

"Return to the North. Leave me."

"But, sir..."

"This is my order, Captain. Do not argue."

With no room for disagreement, the Captain walked away from the sea shore. Dantley quickly prepared his weapons, including classic rifles and machine guns, as well as some gold coins and gold bars. Carrying a sizable bag, he was about to head towards the highway when something caught his attention in the forest.

He readied his rifle and ventured into the dense forest, the sun just beginning to set. His keen eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for any sign. His keen sense of smell detected a familiar scent, a trace of blood.

In the forest, two figures were running around. Dantley's sharp eyes continued to track their movements, and he followed their steps.

"Where are they?" he muttered, momentarily losing the trail. However, he remembered his wolf senses and was able to easily track the two figures that had piqued his interest.

Glancing at the two individuals running around, he remarked, "It's already night, yet they're still wandering in the forest? I thought humans were afraid of the dark." He raised his rifle, carefully stepping over fallen leaves as he tried to aim for his target. Unfortunately, his target was incredibly agile, constantly evading his aim.

"Damn it, using my wolf power would complicate things," he complained to himself, frustration evident. He persisted, trying to lock onto his elusive target.

"Got you, you little shit!" Dantley's unwavering gaze identified a weak point in his target's movements.

His aim was true, and he finally pulled the trigger.

The sharp crack of gunfire reverberated through the forest, followed by a piercing scream that brought a cruel smile to Dantley's face.

Dantley sprinted towards the injured figure, blood now staining their head. He hadn't expected to find such an impressive catch. He reloaded his rifle and aimed it at the head of the remaining figure who hadn't been paralyzed.

"Where are you going, you little shit?"

"You bastard! How dare you—"

"Die!"
