51. A Way Back Home

I had expected a loose young boy or a significantly older man to be in the room, but to my greatest surprise, this time, I was wrong.

Before me standing is a huge man, handsome and well-built, with a towel wrapped around his torso. His damp hair, with water dripping from it down to the sides of his cheeks, makes him look more handsome and yummy.

I can't deny he felt that I had hit some jackpot today. This time I might not be so irritated after all. Maybe luck had decided to shine on me.

"Come in," his deep voice calls out to me, cold yet somehow enticing.

I walk behind him towards the room as my heart thuds against my chest with each step I take.

I hear the door shut close behind me, and the tip-tapping of his feet against the floor draws closer.

"Hello, Sophie," he calls out to me as he takes a seat on his wide chair, his arms stretching wide against the components of the chairs.

My eyes roam subconsciously around his body and finally on his waist. The towel is hanging threateningly
