"The council demands your presence urgently," The guard instructed seriously, and I nodded in response, following him immediately.

I couldn't help but wonder why the council would suddenly request for my presence but weirdly enough, I had my suspicions but I didn't want to conclude so I got rid of every thought.

The guard led me to the throne room, and with a bow he left me alone. I took a deep breath and then walked in. As expected, the room was filled, with only a spare sit which was obviously preserved for me.

"Sit," The senior elder spoke in a calm voice. I swallowed, my heart racing widely in my chest. Getting summoned by the elders was a nerve wrecking experience at it didn't happen quite a lot.

"It is my pleasure to be invited by this great council," I said, and thankfully, I didn't sound as nervous as I felt, "But if i may ask, to what do I owe you?"
