Erna sat by her window, looking up at the night sky of Waterford from her bedroom window. She knew that there was nothing there but a few stars and a full moon covered in quite dense smoke of pollution. Yet her eyes remained locked there as if bewitched by the light of the full moon, which was strangely beautiful in comparison.
Her hand moved to touch the figure of the moon that looked much closer to her while biting her lower lips. The moonlight made her think of Bianca. Her best friend's skin was just like the moon. Pale, white with a slightly lower body temperature than the average person. Her friend's tapering fingers, plus a taller and slender body than average women and her handsome face were indeed suitable to make her the perfect prince figure. In fact, she might not be surprised if one day she finds Bianca claiming to change her gender to man, considering that there was not the slightest trace of femininity in Bianca's masculine personality.
