Chapter 15

I woke up in pain, my body feeling weak and needles inserted in my hands connected to a drip.

I looked around and realized I was in my room, Sebastian must have brought me here instead of the pack's hospital. I thought to myself, "Who is here? I'm hungry."

I tried to get up, but my legs were still too weak to do anything. Just then, Sebastian entered the room.

"Thank goodness you're awake, you scared me," he said.

"I'm not going anywhere," I told him. "How are you feeling? Are you okay?"

I told him I was hungry and he laughed. He left to get me something to eat when his dad, mom, and Helen rushed in.

Anna came running to me and pulled me into a tight hug.

"I hope you're feeling better," she asked.

"Yes, I am," I answered with a smile.

"Anna, you need to let the girl go and not suffocate her," Sebastian's dad said.

"How are you, my dear?" he asked.

"I'm fine, sir," I replied.

Helen also asked how I was feeling and left after she was satisfied with my answer.
