Chapter 4

The feeling you get when you felt you have experienced something like this before.

Exactly, just like "Deja Vu" that's how I am feeling right now.

Because I am currently in a sick bed in the pack hospital just like the first time I came to this pack.

But this time around both my head and stomach hurts and I have a bandage wrapped around my head.

And needles were inserted in my hand for drips to flow into my body.

I looked around to check if there is someone that can explain this situation to me right now.

Why am I on drip and why is my stomach burning like this? I groaned.

Not long after, the doctor came in and immediately after she saw I was awake she rushed over to my side.

She was touching my head and asking me a series of questions.

"Are you feeling any better", she asked.

No, my stomach still hurts like crazy and my head is banging right now.

"Alright, sorry but you just need to rest you would feel better after that".

Okay, thank you.

But doctor, how did I get here? Because the last thing I remembered was someone hitting me on the back of my head.

"The beta brought you here 2days ago," she said.

W-what I have been out for 2 days, I screamed.

Yes, you got food poisoning and you lost a bit of blood.

Food poisoning, how? Who is trying to kill me and Why? I thought to myself.

After a while, Sebastian and Noah came in. Sebastian rushed to my side, checking my body to see if anything else was wrong.

He kept tossing me around until I told him I was fine. I could see his eyes changing colour, which meant Hector was fighting for dominance.

"Hector, I'm fine, and Snow is also fine, don't worry," I said. I think what I said had an impact on him because he calmed down.

"Oh thank goodness you are alright, I almost killed the guy that hit you on the head," he said. "But I just had to put him in the cell till you woke up.

I was surprised he had caught the guy who did this to me. But who is this guy and why? And for some reason, I felt he got the wrong guy."

Noah had just been watching us with a smile on his face. I remembered I had yet to thank him. "Noah, thanks for saving me and bringing me to the hospital. You have saved my life twice, thank you so much," I said.

"It's my pleasure, Luna," he teased. I said you should stop calling me Luna, and then I asked him, "Noah, how were you able to save me?"

"I was going through my normal routine of checking around the pack house and I saw someone rush out of your room.

I came straight to your room and saw you in the pool of blood, so I brought you straight to the hospital.

I am so glad you were around the pack house; God knows what would have happened." I thanked him once again and he left to attend to his duties.

Sebastian kissed my forehead and left for his office, but he made sure he ordered food for me to eat.

He did a lot of checking and cleansing before I could eat.

I left the hospital with Helen after I was done with my drip. I went over to my room to take a proper shower and I changed my clothes.

After a while, Sebastian took me to the pack's cell to see the guy. As I entered the cell, the smell was so strong that I almost threw up.

Sebastian asked if I had known him before and I shook my head; I had never seen him before.

But he claimed he had hit me because I had ignored him and looked at him as if he were dirt whenever he tried talking to me.

His reason did not make sense to me; why would I treat him that way when I was of a low rank myself? It just confirmed my suspicion that he had the wrong guy.

I left the prison with Sebastian and went back to my room.

As I got to my room, I saw a strange letter that said, "You escaped this time; next time you won't." Who was this, and why was I being threatened?

And the only person that came to mind was "Evelyn."

…………………….

I woke up groaning, my body was hot and I was in pain. "Shoot," I said, "I'm on my heat period." Heat period is what we she-wolves experience after meeting our mate, but we have yet to complete the bonding process.

I rushed to the bathroom, prepared a cold bath, and sat there for a while. Red spots were already coming out on my body. The pain I was feeling was so severe that I didn't even realize when I started crying.

After what felt like hours of groaning in pain, Sebastian entered my room. He carried me bridal-style and dropped me on my bed. He lay beside me and cuddled me to sleep.

I woke up feeling blessed; no pain, no red spots, and my heart was full because of Sebastian.

I looked at him sleeping peacefully and kissed his lips; he deepened the kiss, and that's how we had another make-out session.

After our make-out, I went to shower and he left to attend to his duties.

………………

I was training with Noah at the training and I am getting better at using swords now and I can protect myself now. Sebastian was on the field today and he asked one of the soldiers to fight with me.

I didn't know what his plan was, but I was determined not to lose this fight. I saw Noah approach Sebastian, maybe to talk him out of his plan, but it didn't work.

A young soldier stepped forward to fight and Noah threw swords on the ground for the fight to start.

The clashing of swords echoed through the air, as our blades kept striking, each strike sending sparks flying. I was determined not to lose this fight, but it was obvious that he was stronger than me.

But just as I was about to strike, I mistakenly injured his shoulder and Noah shouted "Halt!" I went straight to him; blood was gushing out from his shoulder.

Immediately, I touched his shoulder and I felt a strange energy in my body. I noticed everyone was looking at me. I removed my hand from his shoulder and noticed that the blood had gone and the scar was no longer there.

I was surprised; I knew we had heard of a fast recovery rate, but not this fast. I was engulfed with different feelings of emotion - fear, excitement, and disbelief - clashing within my mind.

However, Sebastian made sure he told everyone not to talk about what happened there and that they must not leave this place.

But even still, I was still scared of this newfound discovery, because I didn't know if it would turn out to be a curse or a gift.
