Chapter 6

I ran back to the woods at full speed, shifting and hurrying back to my room.

Whoever the brown wolf was, I didn't want her to figure out who I was. So I took a shower and lay on my bed.

It was time for dinner, so I went down to the kitchen to grab something to eat. Helen was waving at me, so I went over to meet her and we ate our food in silence.

After eating, Helen wanted us to go to the Park and relax, but I told her I was tired so I went back to my room.

As I lay on my bed thinking about the brown wolf, I don't know when I fell asleep.

The next day, Noah came to call me for practice, so I was getting ready to go to the field.

I asked him why he hadn't been calling me for practice and he told me that Sebastian had asked him to give me some time to myself, which I thought was sweet.

We trained for over two hours and Noah commended me on how much I had improved.

I knew it wouldn't be an easy task, but I always try to give it my all when I'm learning.

After practice, I took a shower and I started craving a hot coffee.

I went to the kitchen, prepared my coffee and took it to my room to drink. I was about to change my clothes when I heard a knock on the door.

I opened the door and Sebastian came in. He hugged me, pecked me on my forehead and went to sit on my bed.

I noticed the stressed look on his face; being an Alpha comes with its cons too.

Sebastian called my name, "Violet, come sit over here for a few minutes, I came to discuss something with you," he said.

The elders have been pressuring him to mark Evelyn and announce her as his mate, or else his position as an Alpha would be threatened.

But he told them to give him some time, but he didn't know how long they could wait anymore.

"So do you think you're ready for the announcement?" he asked.

"I understand. I was just worried about you." We talked for a while and I told her about my dilemma.

She said that I should take the position of Luna and that I could lead the pack. She said that I would be a great Luna and that I should trust my instincts.

I was honestly unsure if I was ready to take on the position of Luna.

It was more than just a position; it came with a lot of responsibilities. I had to be the mother of the pack and take charge of all the internal affairs.

I told him I would think about it and get back to him, but for now, I asked him to be patient. I went to change my clothes and when I returned to my room, he had already fallen asleep.

I went to his side and snuggled up to him, and he wrapped his arms around me. When I woke up, he was gone.

I thought about what he said and a lot of questions came to my mind: Was I ready to accept the position of Luna? Did I have the ability to lead a pack? Would I be a good Luna? I didn't know if I would do a good job, but I knew I would give it my best.

I went to the library to get more information about the white wolf. I took five different books relating to the white wolf to read and get more information.

I didn't find much, so I decided to check out some books on the healing gift.

I found out that your gift gets stronger when you complete the mating bond, but if it's overused, you can lose your wolf or even worse, end up dead.

So the best thing for anyone with this gift is to learn how to control it so not everyone they touch would be affected.

This new information was overwhelming because I didn't know how to control my gift.

I would have to tell Sebastian about it, maybe there was someone in the pack who knew more about healing gifts and could be of help.

I left the library and went to check up on Helen. I knocked on her door and she was surprised to see me.

"What brings you here?" she asked. "I know I haven't been a good friend to you, and I'm sorry," I said. "It's alright," she replied.

We were both in the living room watching the Korean series "Nine-tailed Fox" when Helen mentioned something amazing she had seen the day before.

I asked her to tell me what it was and she said, "Yesterday when I went for a run in the woods I saw a Whitewolf!"

I was so surprised that I dropped the remote in my hands. I couldn't believe it was Helen, but it made sense because the scent was familiar.

"Why are you acting like this?" she asked. "Someone might think you're the White Wolf!"

I laughed it off and asked if she had seen the person, but she said they had run off before she could get a good look.

"But I later found out who it was," she said, staring at me.

I avoided her gaze and she stood up and left. I wanted to follow her, but I decided to wait until she came back.

"Why didn't you tell me about your wolf?" she asked. "I gave you plenty of chances to tell me, but you stayed quiet.

If you don't consider me a friend and trust me enough to tell me, then I don't think we should be friends anymore."

"I wasn't even that angry when I found out the Whitewolf was you," she continued. "But when I found out about your mate, I was angry."

I was speechless, not knowing what to say. "I'm sorry, Helen," I pleaded. "I should have told you about Alpba being my mate. I'm sorry."

"It's alright," she replied. "But you've lost a friend." She told me to leave and I did.

Was this wrote by a 14 year old? It's rushed, grammar errors. Like "Why didn't you tell me about your wolf" " then says you lost a friend. Sorry, that was ridiculous.
