Doors slamming, rushed footsteps, and annoyed voices pulled me from sleep. Sunlight danced over my closed eyelids as I stirred and I fought the need to open my eyes. I was exhausted and wanted just a few more minutes of sleep. My body was surrounded in warmth, a warmth that felt like being outside on the grass on a sunny day. I never wanted to leave. I inhaled deeply as the ground jerked beneath me. My eyes flew open and I forgot how to breathe as I realized the ground wasn’t the ground at all.

My head lay atop a chiseled chest and my hand rested low on defined abs. My fingers twitched with the need to follow the v-line south. I swallowed as my eyes trailed up his smooth chest, stopping at those pert mouthwatering nipples before continuing up his chin and finally on Shane’s face. The memory of last night came flooding in and warmed my cheeks as I tried to stay as still as possible. My gaze darted to the mark on his neck and my heart hammered in my chest.
