I watched the Alpha Arnold walk in with the man who had refused to grace me with his presence for a few days now. I didn't know why, but I had gone from not wanting to have anything to do with the man to simply missing his presence around.

But then again, as much as I missed his presence, there was still this warning in a part of my heart that kept telling me that I should not give him the chance to get too close with me. Otherwise, I would be playing with fire. I didn't even know what that was supposed to mean, but I wanted to pay attention to my sixth sense. In a way, it had helped helped me out of trouble.

A sigh escaped my lips as I turned to pick up a handkerchief so that I would be able to wipe sweat off my face. I was alerted to how well I was healing now. If it was before, rather than that sigh that I let out, I was sure that it was going to either be a groan or it was going to be me being in tears from the excruciating pain that would take over me.

This is a great story but I get so frustrated that I can never find the ending of these serialized books
