Strange dream.

I waited for hours until Dylan finally arrived. I couldn't contain my excitement when I saw him come back to us in one piece. I thought that he had been attacked or worse, but I was grateful that he wasn't. At least, I wouldn't have to worry anymore.

"You're back?" I ran into his arms, hugging him tightly. He hugged me back, but we pulled away from each other and I suddenly felt awkward about it. I didn't know why but I didn't think we were so close as to start hugging each other. Maybe it was the adrenaline of fear speaking on my behalf.

"Of course I'll be back." He conformed. "I told you, didn't I? That I would come back to you, no matter what."

"Welcome back, Alpha." Jamison bowed down his head curtly at him. "How did the meeting go with the rest of the other members of the pack?"
