19. The savior

“The target is sixty-five seconds away from you. Coming from the left.'' The man inside the car was informed through a phone call. He dropped the call and kicked the engine of the car to life. He cocked his gun before checking the time on his stopwatch. He still had some valuables to spare.

The headlight of a car shone brightly from the left side of the road and he set his car into motion, ramming into the side of the car. The collision was heavy and sent a spiraling effect on the other car. He walked out with his gun cocked and pointed forward and shot a bullet at the driver of the other car. He walked closer to the car and yanked the door open. The driver sat in his seat looking weak and half dead. A bullet had caught his lower abdomen. The killer raised his gun and was about to fire another bullet when a gunshot sounded behind him. The effect was a sharp pain at the back of his head that sent a numb feeling through his body.
