48. Angelo's death.

Cielo heaved a sigh of relief after hearing a response. She could hear the indecision in his tone but that didn't matter to her at all.

“Giovanni was attacked and he is laying half dead at the club office. You have to get down here immediately before he crosses to the other side.” She said and heard Giovanni snort behind him. She could hear footsteps at the other side as the consigliere got down from the chair he sat in. He quickly picked up his car keys and gun from the table before putting on his shoes.

“Are you serious about what you just said?” he asked as he rushed toward the door, his heart beating faster than normal. He was playing video games on his console before the disturbing news came in.

“Why would I call you with his phone to joke about this?” She fired back. “You better rush down here. He is already losing a lot of blood.” She added. “You will find him at the office complex. I'm sure you know how to find your way there.” She said before hanging up.
