CHAPTER SEVEN
CAMILLE'S POV :
Seven years has passed since Aiden had taken over from his late Father, his now 28 years and I'm 25.
Yes the Alpha was ill and didn't survive the sickness he had, Aiden had to step up and take over.
He ruled with an iron hand. Most of his subjects hated him but they couldn't deny that everything benefited their pack in the end, this I overheard.
When his Dad died I thought I would be free to go but no I wasn't free, things got worse when he turned Alpha. I was now his personal rag.
It hurt me to see my mate treat me like this but I couldn't do anything at the moment.
When his mum told him that she had found a woman for him to marry , the daughter of a noble in their pack and she was the best fit for him. He blamed it all on me for the inability of not having a real mate.
I was at the ceremony where they got joined as a pair, I was allowed out since I would help in working but I'm sure someone was watching me so I wouldn't escape.
I watched as my own mate was joined together with some woman and shared a kiss. My wolf howled in pain of him being another's, he constantly and slowly put hate in me for him but I don't know why the love I felt was topping my hate and despise for how I'm being treated, I just hope he doesn't push me further till I finally hate him.
Over these years I amd Lunaris have been there for each other. Ivy and Miss Clara noticed that something was wrong and things weren't going so well with how I was treated but I shrugged it off. I don't want them getting in my mess.
Lunaris often gets sad, mad and annoyed but we calm each other, she still wants her mate back but I don't think he will ever love and accept us.
ALPHA AIDEN'S POV :
I was now Alpha after my Dad had died. I was supposed to have a mate by then but I lied that I haven't found my mate , then my mum brought a girl for me from a noble and that was who I was to get married too, and the council agreed. Now the council is of the King and Queen , those are like the overall with decisions. Is a place where important meetings are carried out , concerning different packs and their issues and how it can be solved and many other things.
I had my wedding and maybe we would come to love each other with time, I thought.
After my wedding Camille had avoided me, which I noticed. Well it's all her fault, I'm just giving her a little break but I've not gone half of what I've planned for her.
"You still want to continue with what you have been doing , hasn't she had enough" my wolf argued with me. We have had so much arguments on how i treat her but I don't care.
"Well if she wasn't such a lowlife, we would have been happy. So don't blame me for her mistakes" I argued back.
"Just leave the girl alone, you don't want her right? Then let her go. As much as it will hurt me , I'll be glad she's free than be here and be treated like nothing"
"No Alistair, she's not free to go and be happy, she will remain here and suffer for what she has caused me" I growled at him and the thought of her leaving. She stays.
But before he could say anything else, I heard my name.
"Aiden, Love" I turned to see my wife who was calling out to me . I had lost track of what I was doing while arguing with my wolf.
"Pfft love, gross" Alistair felt very irritated by Laila. Yeah her name is Laila, she's beautiful no doubt.
"Our mate is gorgeous and breathtaking, this one is just starting on getting there" Alistair replied sassily, hearing my thoughts. Damn wolf, I hated arguing with him, I love my wolf but he just doesn't get it.
I ignored what he said and focused on the lady in front of me.
"Sorry beautiful, had a discussion with my wolf" I told her , giving her a smile. We were in my room , which is now our room. My room is very big with unique things, the design was chosen by me and she loved it.
"Oh really? Is everything okay. You looked a bit upset" she said touching my arm softly.
"Yeah it's all good, just some unimportant argument" Alistair snarled at my response.
"Alright if you say so. So I wanted to know few things about the pack , important things too" she asked .
"Sure, what do you want to know?"
"Well I know we can shift but we don't, we are only allowed to shift on the full moon. Why's that?" She asked me a bit confused.
"Well that privilege was getting abused by some persons in the pack in a wrong way so the law was set. But guards, warriors are trained both in wolf form and human form but they also have rules regarding their changing" I explained to her as she listened, quite interested in knowing more things that she didn't know before. She asked few more questions, she's lucky I wasn't busy so I took my time to explain things to her and how it works.
This wouldn't be so bad, this could actually work out but after that night.
Few days later things started to change, Laila would go out and come home late, the way she smelled and behaves. I kept observing her until I saw something which I couldn't believe , i barely even knew nor love her but I thought we could actually work but I guess I was wrong
CHAPTER 80After the intense battle with the other vampires, Alpha Marcellus and his people finally returned to their home territory, bruised and exhausted, but victorious. As they approached the territory, the sight of their familiar surroundings gave them a sense of relief and comfort. The pack members were overjoyed to be back in their own territory, Morgana had filled him in on there way back about the attack directly in their home as he predicted it will be.When they finally got in , they put the pack in order, other pack members had already started working on that, the vampires dead bodies were burnt to ashes, the pack clean and we arranged, warriors that were injured were being taken care of as their injuries were attend too.Marcellus thanked Davina and their witches for their joined effort and they said it wasn't a problem, they were part of the Pack and it's their problem too. After everything was back to normal and the way it was supposed to be, Eve
CHAPTER 79The day of the war finally arrived. And they were to meet in a large clearing. Marcellus and his warriors were ready and so was Dimitri and his warriors.Morgana was to stay back and protect the pack, just Incase Charles sends some of his warriors to the pack and her and her warriors were equally worried. The full sun was high in the sky, bathing the clearing in an eerie, silver light. The wind blew, carrying the scent of blood and fear across the battlefield. In the center of the clearing, two separate groups of supernatural beings were locked in an epic battle. On one side were the werewolves, their fur shining and their claws extended as they fought to protect their territory. On the other side were a vampire clan, their fangs bared and their eyes glowing with an unnatural light. The werewolves had an unexpected ally in this fight, to Charles surprise, he saw most of his vampires and Lord Dimitri, but he didn't care, he was going to kill them all
CHAPTER 78Morgana carefully arranged the items on the table in front of her. She placed the vampire's personal belongings in the center, surrounded by the black candle and the red thread. Taking a deep breath, she began her work.Morgana slowly lit the black candle, letting its dark flames fill the room with a smoky haze. Closing her eyes, she began to chant a strange incantation."*Vampiri arcanum revula, locus meus mea vox audim, ad me vepire ut possim me videre*"Her voice was low and melodic as she moved her hands in mysterious patterns above the items on the table. She took the red thread in her hands and carefully wound it around the vampire's personal belongings, forming a intricate web that would be used to draw the vampire to her. She muttered a few more words as she worked, her voice growing louder with each passing moment. Finally, with one last incantation, the witch opened her eyes and released the red thread. She had done all she could to locate
CHAPTER 77"I can perform the location spell but the problem is we don't have anything that belongs to him", Morgana suggested."Oh that would have been a spell to help us at least get a start, but what if we can actually get something that belongs to him?", Marcellus added, smiling at his plan."What are you thinking Marcellus?", Alex asked him."Caleb", at the mention of that name, Alex remembered that they had someone inside the clan that could actually help us out with this."We could tell him to help us out", Marcellus said."But what if he doesn't agree?", Morgana questioned softly."He doesn't have a choice and of course he will agree", Marcellus chuckled, "we have known him for years and I'm definitely sure he will".So right there, Marcellus made a call to Caleb, who picked up at the first ring and they got down to business and spoke about it, Caleb also wanted Lord Dimitri back and agreed to help them.Caleb agreed to carry out the act immediately just
CHAPTER 76The man moved through the dark alleyways, pain filling every inch of his body as he stumbled along. His movements were slow and unsteady, like that of a wounded animal searching for shelter from the storm. He muttered curses under his breath, his mind consumed with the memory of the brutal betrayal he had suffered at the hands of his own brother. It had started out as a simple disagreement, a petty argument over territory that had quickly spiraled out of control. The man's brother had always been jealous of his power and influence, the man supposed, and now he saw an opportunity to strike. In a fit of rage, he had attacked his own flesh and blood, beating him mercilessly until he lay lifeless on the ground. But somehow, the man had survived. He had awakened to find himself alone and abandoned, his body broken and battered beyond recognition, he didn't even know how he managed to leave his clan without being seen. The pain had been unbearable, and he
CHAPTER 75There was no room for argument as they agreed. They all called it a night as everyone departed, going into their rooms. Marcellus and his mate freshened up and laid in bed in each other arms. The both of them laid in bed, holding each other closely. The moon shone brightly outside, casting a soft glow over the room. But inside, there was only darkness and sadness.Morgana's heart was heavy with grief for their pack. They had lost many members recently, and those who remained were in pain. She knew that as the pack's Luna, it was her responsibility to help them through this difficult time, but she didn't know where to begin."Marcel," she said softly, calling her mate, her voice breaking with emotion. "I don't know what to do. Our pack is hurting so much, and I don't know how to ease their pain."Alpha Marcellus stroked her hair gently, his touch soothing and comforting. "I know, my love," he said. "It's not easy to see our pack suffer like this. Bu
