Logan's pov I stay awake all night watching Freya sleep and listening to the monitors beep and trying to figure out who would want her dead badly enough to set a trap like this.Sebastian and Zane both dozed off in their chairs around three in the morning but I can't sleep because every time I close my eyes I see Freya lying on that stretcher not breathing and the terror comes rushing back.The doctor comes in at six to check on Freya and says her oxygen levels improved overnight and if she continues recovering they can discharge her this afternoon."Will there be permanent damage to her lungs?" I ask quietly so I don't wake the others."Possibly some scarring," the doctor admits. "But she's young and strong and her body should heal well."Freya wakes up around seven and immediately starts coughing and I help her sit up and give her water and she drinks slowly while wincing."How do you feel?"
