LOGINLarry's pov
“Wow,” Rowan said. “I didn’t realize you’d be this shy after last night.”
I gaped at him in shock. “After… after what?” my voice croaked.
The laughter instantly died, and he frowned.
“Wait,” he said slowly. “You don’t remember?”
I felt dread fill my tummy. “Remember what?”
He studied me for a moment. “You’re messing with me, Larry,” he said. “You have to be.”
My eyes narrowed. “I swear to God, Rowan, if this is some stupid prank again—” I threatened.
Rowan stared at me, then he chuckled again, shaking his head. “You’re unbelievable,” he said. “Think harder, little one. You’ll remember.”
As if in cue, my brain brought back a memory. Or rather, what I thought was a dream.
A pair of hands stroking me, a deep voice telling me I could only cum when he said so.
“No,” I said quickly. “No. That was a dream.”
Rowan’s smile widened. “No, it wasn’t.”
“Yes, it was.”
“It really wasn’t.”
I scrambled backward until my back hit the headboard. “This is impossible,” I said. “We hate each other.”
Rowan tilted his head. “Do we?”
“Yes!”
He looked genuinely confused. “Why do you think I hate you?”
I stared at him like he’d grown a second head.
“Are you serious right now?” I snapped. “You fucked my girlfriend in front of me!”
Rowan’s eyes widened. Then, he winced. “Oh,” he said. “That.”
“That?!” I shouted.
He rubbed the back of his neck. “I… kind of forgot about that.”
“You forgot about that?” I hissed in anger.
“It was three years ago, Larry.” He drawled.
“I loved her!” I snapped as the painful memory returned with a vengeance.
“Well—” He started, but I cut him off.
“I loved Lucy with all I had,” I continued. “She was the only woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I gave her everything. I trusted her with everything I had, and you took that away from me!”
Rowan didn’t interrupt this time.
I continued. “Lucy swore she loved me too. But then I came home from a trip early one day to surprise her.” I choked up at the sore memory. “I walked into our bedroom and found her in bed with you. She was sucking your cock as if her life depended on it.”
Rowan shifted uncomfortably.
“And then – then you looked me dead in the eye,” I sneered. “And you smiled at me as you came in her mouth.”
A tense silence filled the room, but I wasn’t done.
“After that, you started to torture, humiliate, and bully me like it was your favorite hobby. Like watching me suffer gave you joy.”
Rowan opened his mouth, then closed it but I continued to glare at him.
“So don’t sit there and pretend you don’t know why I hate you, Rowan.” I snarled.
He exhaled slowly. “Larry—”
“Now explain to me,” I snapped, “why the hell you’re implying that we slept together last night.”
I was breathing hard now, waiting for him to reveal that this was another prank.
But Rowan locked eyes with me and sighed. “Because we truly did sleep together, Rowan.”
My world tilted.
“Are you saying…” I whispered. “That I slept with you, on the night before your wedding to my sister?”
“Well… we didn’t go all the way, but yes.” He nodded
I shook my head. “No. No, no, no. That can’t be real. This is a joke or something.”
But Rowan did not look like he was joking at all. He was completely serious.
I suddenly felt nauseous like I was about to throw up.
Rowan immediately sat up to hold me. “Larry. It’s okay, just breathe.”
I tried to shrug him off. "You're crazy, get the hell away from me!"
But instead of pulling away, Rowan suddenly yanked me forward until I was pressed tightly against him.
And in the deepest voice I had ever heard him use, he growled. "Never, Larry, I will never ever stay away from you. And from today onward, you are forever mine!"

A voice called out."Larry!" the guard called out from the doorway, his voice full of anxiety. "We have to hurry! Lets go!"We sprinted back through the corridors, my lungs burning, my mind completely numb with as I burst back into the medical suite. The metallic machines were clicking rapidly, and Alistair's breathing had slowed into shallow, hollow gasps.I dropped back to my knees beside his bed, holding up the envelope. "I got it, Your Majesty! I found the letter! Here it is!"Alistair looked at the paper in my hands, a single tear slipping from his clouded eye down his hollow cheek. He weakly lifted his trembling hand, pushing the letter back into my chest."For... f

Larry's pov"Larry... please... say something!" Rowan pleaded, staring up at me with terrified eyes. "Promise me you'll wait for me!""I can't make any promises right now, Rowan," I whispered softly, my voice dead and empty. "My heart hurts too much right now to give you anything. "What... what do you mean by that? Larry, what are you going to do?!"I didn't answer him. I just turned around and began walking away down the dimly lit corridor, my dress shoes clicking softly against the marble floor."Larry! Wait! LARRY!" "Why did you hit me?"I squared my shoulders, backing up until my spine pressed flat against the cold stone wall, my jaw clenched so hard my teeth ached. "Don't you dare touch me, Rowan," I snapped, my voice trembling with raw, furious emotion. "I am not doing this with you again."Rowan blinked, taking a small step forward, his hands raised in a gentle, pleading gesture. "Larry, please. Just calm down for a second. Let me hold you—""No!" I yelled softly, pushing his hands away before they could even brush my sleeves. "I said no! Look at yourself, Rowan! Look at where we are!
