CLAIRE's POV

I could feel my consciousness return slowly as I shifted. I felt a hard cold substance beneath me. Where on earth was I?

I turned to my side and let out a loud groan at the pain that resonated through my head. The back of my head hurt and it throbbed the more I moved my body.

My eyes cracked open slowly and I was met with darkness. Fear shot down my spine and my eyes darted around frantically, in an attempt to assert my surroundings and find out where the hell I was.

I tried to move my hands, but was instantly stopped by something. My hands were bound together and so were my legs. My mind slowly traced back to my encounter with Martha.

Someone had knocked me unconscious and brought me here. But why? And where did Emmaline and Danica go? The weight of the situation began to overwhelm me greatly and I began to swear profusely.

I tried to cast a spell, but I was unable to. Confusion set into my mind and I tried again repeatedly, but was met with the same results.
