The hospital director stared at me in disbelief. It was my first day of punishment, and I already had my youngest sister strapped to my back like a living backpack.

“You brought a toddler into the hospital?” he asked, clearly appalled.

“Luna Gwen left her in my care. I have no choice but to follow her orders.” I pulled out my phone and gave him a pointed look. “Unless you’d prefer I call the Alpha and tell him his youngest daughter has been left outside?”

Meanwhile, Jace and Eris were both visibly stunned. One of the Atherton twins had just addressed Calla as the Alpha Princess. Jace’s heart pounded against his chest. “I-Is Calla really the Alpha Princess?” he stammered, swallowing hard. “No! That’s impossible!” Eris exclaimed, shaking her head in disbelief. “We spoke to the Alpha Princess earlier! And she clearly wasn’t Calla!” ‘But the elite wolves from the Alpha Prince’s inner circle have been by Calla’s side this entire time?’ Jace wanted to argue, but the words caught in his throat as he looked at Calla. Her eyes, once warm whenever she looked at him, were now cold and utterly indifferent. “If Calla really were the Alpha Princess, Ms. Grant would have told us! We were at the hospital just the other day, and they practically threw her out! Even the director looked down on her. She’s just an ordinary healer!” But no matter how much Eris protested, the scene unfolding before them was impossible to ignore. The elite wolves, th

  • Claimed by the Outcast Alpha   CALLA 37: Assumption

Alpha Logan had to attend to his mother, who was clearly still upset. I assumed Barry had gone with them to try to talk some sense into her, though I couldn't quite understand why he would bother. So, when Lia approached me, Barry was nowhere to be seen. I was surrounded by a few friends, some of whom I'd known since our days at the School of Pups. They were all elite wolves from different territories. “Alpha Princess, I know you and I have never gotten along,” Lia began, her voice trembling as tears gathered in her eyes. “You could never understand how I feel because you were born into wealth! You're the Alpha Princess. You have every privilege in this world.” I couldn't believe how ridiculous this she-wolf was. She seemed determined to blame her circumstances for everything, as if that excused her endless greed. “So, what you're saying is that I'll only understand how you feel once you get your hands on thirty percent of the Atherton family's shares? What's next? What else are yo

“What in the goddess’s fuck did you mean?!” Trina snapped. “That you’re obsessed with Jace!” Eris declared. These two were seriously delusional! “Unbelievable!” Trina muttered, shaking her head before turning to look at me. Jace swallowed hard. Trina's disgust was written all over her face, and he clearly didn't know how to react. I cut in before either of them could say anything else. “I already told you. You'd be better off setting aside the money you owe Verge City. The more time you spend here, the more of your pack's resources you waste instead of putting them toward paying off your debt.” I caught the hatred burning in Eris's eyes. “This must be your doing!” she accused, glaring at me. The corner of my lips curled into a smirk. “Yes! I admit it. What are you going to do about it?” “Calla…” Jace murmured, his voice almost pleading. “I treated you well. How could you do this to us?” I turned to him, unable to believe he still dared to play the victim. “You have no ri

[Calla] It wasn’t long before I spotted Eris and Jace among the guests. Trina quietly approached me, looking composed and well put together. “General, I’m really sorry about what happened,” she said, referring to the two rogues who had managed to escape. That was something I had been wondering about myself. Caius and Trina had been working together, so how had they let the rogues slip through their fingers? They were both elite wolves. It shouldn't have been that easy to evade them. “Let's put that aside for now.” I was certain my father and Caius already had something planned. They simply hadn't bothered to tell me yet. I turned my attention to something more pressing. “Have you finished the investigation I assigned to you?” I wanted to know who Lia Grant really was. “About that…” Trina lowered her voice and glanced around, making sure no one was close enough to overhear us. “She isn't from the pack house she claims to belong to.” She pulled out her phone and showed me a pictu

The guard paid no attention to Jace and Eris's complaints. “You are to make sure that everyone boarding the yacht has a proper invitation!” Calla warned the guards. The alpha princess was clearly displeased with the couple. She had walked right past them without even sparing them a glance. So, how could she have developed such strong feelings for a man who didn't even have an invitation to board the yacht? ‘Who is this wolf, anyway?’ one of the guards wondered. Calla glanced back at the couple before finally stepping inside. Eris clenched her teeth, barely containing her anger. “How could you do that?” Eris demanded the moment Calla disappeared from sight. “Didn’t you hear what I said? If the princess finds out you’re deliberately making things difficult for us, you’ll be in serious trouble!” Eris tried to push her way past the guards, while Jace could already feel a headache coming on. “Step back!” one of the warriors barked. “Who do you think you are, causing a scene at the e

[Calla] “Mommy, Shister Caia spanked me!” the little troublemaker wailed, conveniently twisting the story to make herself look like the victim in front of my mother. Thankfully, Mom had returned to the mansion days after I'd spent time looking after my little sister. “You threw a tantrum and ate several packs of candy! That's bad for babies! I was only looking after your health. How did I suddenly become the bad sister?” “But you’re a good heawer! If my teefies get sick from eating too much candy, you can fix them!” “I’m not a dentist! The only thing I can do is pull them out.” “See, Mommy? Shister Caia bad! Bad babysitter!” “I thought you loved Sister Calla?” Mom remarked with an amused smile. “Not anymo’! I love Astra more now. Where's my shister?” she asked curiously. Mom gently gathered my youngest sister into her arms. She had missed Clover terribly, which was why she'd decided to return home earlier than planned. While she was away, Astra had been entrusted to Amanda and

Thirty seconds passed before I finally reacted, my eyes scanning the crowded room as if searching for an exit that didn’t exist. It was only my second day at school, and the last thing I needed was to be branded as a delusional she-wolf before I’d even learned anyone’s name. Then a flash of red lig

  • Claimed by the Outcast Alpha   CHAPTER 3: Delusion

My mind is a mess. I pushed myself to get into Lycan Academy because, just as Rumi said, it was part of my agreement with Soren. This is the most prestigious school for wolves, one that doesn’t favor any pack, no matter where they come from, because it answers only to its own standards. I had told

“Gwen?” Rumi’s voice snapped me out of my daze after I froze at what I had just witnessed. For a second, I tried to convince myself it was nothing, desperately gaslighting my own thoughts. But my heart had already dropped the moment Soren and the woman kissed. She has blonde hair, effortlessl

  • Claimed by the Outcast Alpha   CHAPTER 1: Devotion

[Gwyneth] They say the Moon Goddess will grant you the things you desire most, as long as the moon and time are aligned. I’ve believed in her for as long as I can remember. That’s why I’ve always been certain that Soren and I are mates, from the very moment I first understood what love was. ***
