The guard paid no attention to Jace and Eris's complaints.

“You are to make sure that everyone boarding the yacht has a proper invitation!” Calla warned the guards.

The alpha princess was clearly displeased with the couple. She had walked right past them without even sparing them a glance. So, how could she have developed such strong feelings for a man who didn't even have an invitation to board the yacht?

‘Who is this wolf, anyway?’ one of the guards wondered.

Calla glanced back at the cou

Eris approached my table, her eyes rimmed red and glistening as though she were on the verge of tears. She walked with slightly hunched shoulders, one hand pressed to her stomach, the picture of a fragile, wronged she-wolf. “Calla, I didn’t know I had offended the Alpha Princess. I’m truly sorry… If I had known, I would never have tried to seduce Jace.” She took the seat across from me. “I’ll break things off with Jace and give him back to you. Just please don’t go after his pack house. They’re already struggling, and they’ve worked so hard to build what they have today.” My lips curved. “Lady Eris, that’s not quite the impression you gave me when you poisoned Lora.” She froze. For one heartbeat, the mask slipped, and something cold flickered behind her watery eyes before she blinked and it was gone. “I-I wasn’t in my right mind back then. Please, just forgive Jace and me.” She turned toward the waiter who had approached me earlier and motioned for him to come over. “Would you

“You’re the Alpha Princess?” he said, disbelief thick in his voice. It was clear he wasn’t asking for confirmation; he was struggling to accept the truth. I met his gaze without flinching. “Does it matter now?” His lips trembled. “Calla… We’ve known each other for five years, even back when you were just starting out. We were friends. How could you keep that from me?” I let out a mocking laugh. “Jace, did you expect me to announce that Alpha Lucian’s daughter was living in some distant territory? I kept my identity secret to protect myself.” “But if you had told me…” “Your ‘buts’ and ‘ifs’ mean nothing to me anymore. You’re married now, and I should thank you for showing me who you really are. The morning you returned to Meridian Pack, I had high hopes for you. I thought you would at least give me a chance to explain… “But instead, you greeted me with insults and brought along the pregnant she-wolf you’d been sleeping with for the past six months.” “No, Calla!” His voice cracke

Meanwhile, Jace and Eris were both visibly stunned. One of the Atherton twins had just addressed Calla as the Alpha Princess. Jace’s heart pounded against his chest. “I-Is Calla really the Alpha Princess?” he stammered, swallowing hard. “No! That’s impossible!” Eris exclaimed, shaking her head in disbelief. “We spoke to the Alpha Princess earlier! And she clearly wasn’t Calla!” ‘But the elite wolves from the Alpha Prince’s inner circle have been by Calla’s side this entire time?’ Jace wanted to argue, but the words caught in his throat as he looked at Calla. Her eyes, once warm whenever she looked at him, were now cold and utterly indifferent. “If Calla really were the Alpha Princess, Ms. Grant would have told us! We were at the hospital just the other day, and they practically threw her out! Even the director looked down on her. She’s just an ordinary healer!” But no matter how much Eris protested, the scene unfolding before them was impossible to ignore. The elite wolves, th

Alpha Logan had to attend to his mother, who was clearly still upset. I assumed Barry had gone with them to try to talk some sense into her, though I couldn't quite understand why he would bother. So, when Lia approached me, Barry was nowhere to be seen. I was surrounded by a few friends, some of whom I'd known since our days at the School of Pups. They were all elite wolves from different territories. “Alpha Princess, I know you and I have never gotten along,” Lia began, her voice trembling as tears gathered in her eyes. “You could never understand how I feel because you were born into wealth! You're the Alpha Princess. You have every privilege in this world.” I couldn't believe how ridiculous this she-wolf was. She seemed determined to blame her circumstances for everything, as if that excused her endless greed. “So, what you're saying is that I'll only understand how you feel once you get your hands on thirty percent of the Atherton family's shares? What's next? What else are yo

“What in the goddess’s fuck did you mean?!” Trina snapped. “That you’re obsessed with Jace!” Eris declared. These two were seriously delusional! “Unbelievable!” Trina muttered, shaking her head before turning to look at me. Jace swallowed hard. Trina's disgust was written all over her face, and he clearly didn't know how to react. I cut in before either of them could say anything else. “I already told you. You'd be better off setting aside the money you owe Verge City. The more time you spend here, the more of your pack's resources you waste instead of putting them toward paying off your debt.” I caught the hatred burning in Eris's eyes. “This must be your doing!” she accused, glaring at me. The corner of my lips curled into a smirk. “Yes! I admit it. What are you going to do about it?” “Calla…” Jace murmured, his voice almost pleading. “I treated you well. How could you do this to us?” I turned to him, unable to believe he still dared to play the victim. “You have no ri

[Calla] It wasn’t long before I spotted Eris and Jace among the guests. Trina quietly approached me, looking composed and well put together. “General, I’m really sorry about what happened,” she said, referring to the two rogues who had managed to escape. That was something I had been wondering about myself. Caius and Trina had been working together, so how had they let the rogues slip through their fingers? They were both elite wolves. It shouldn't have been that easy to evade them. “Let's put that aside for now.” I was certain my father and Caius already had something planned. They simply hadn't bothered to tell me yet. I turned my attention to something more pressing. “Have you finished the investigation I assigned to you?” I wanted to know who Lia Grant really was. “About that…” Trina lowered her voice and glanced around, making sure no one was close enough to overhear us. “She isn't from the pack house she claims to belong to.” She pulled out her phone and showed me a pictu

Thirty seconds passed before I finally reacted, my eyes scanning the crowded room as if searching for an exit that didn’t exist. It was only my second day at school, and the last thing I needed was to be branded as a delusional she-wolf before I’d even learned anyone’s name. Then a flash of red lig

“I’m Amanda. I already met Kira last night,” said the woman who had seemed worried earlier. She had short hair, a slim figure, and an innocent face. From the way she looked, I guessed she was around twenty. “So, you must be Kira?” Vada said, turning to the other girl. “Yes!” she answered brightly.

When I pushed open the dormitory door, two unfamiliar faces greeted me, along with two others from the Hollow Pack I hadn’t expected to see, and one of them was Luna Rosalia. They were all seated on the couch, but the second I stepped in, their heads turned toward me in unison. “Where have you be

  • Claimed by the Outcast Alpha   CHAPTER 5: Misunderstood

Muriel’s smile was all warmth on the surface, but my thoughts were anything but calm. It wouldn’t be surprising if Soren eventually found out about my marriage to the Blackwoods. “I’ve heard quite a bit about you from Soren’s friends,” she said pleasantly. “I just hope they’re good things,” I repl
