An attack

             Zach POV

It’s a new day, I am seated in the living room with my legs crossed on the glass table before me.

 Adrian walked to me as he cleared his throat, “Uhm Zach, I think you really dealt with Liam last night” he said as he stood before me.

 

I scoffed as I rolled my eyes, “I didn’t do as I wanted because you guys stopped me. I wanted to break his bones too but I remembered he would need the hands to fight with us” I spat out and took the stick of cigarette into my mouth.

“Men, Liam is still bleeding” he replied.

 

Last night, I was angered. I know Liam is being over protective of me and it’s annoying. He made me dealt with him so bad yesterday. “And where is he bleeding from?” I ask Adrian and he sighs

“Where did he fall on yesterday?” he replied. After I kicked Liam so bad yesterday, he staggered against a wall portrait and it broke. The shattered pieces stabbed his arm and even upon his wound, I kept beating him up.

 

Madison is hurt because of him and so am I too.

 

“Oh, his arm.. didn’t he wrap it up?” I ask him 

“I think he did.” Adrian replied and Zane spoke up. “Yo! Big bro.. honestly I feel so bad for Liam. I saw his face this morning and I couldn’t recognize him” Zane said softly. “What do you mean?”

 

“His face is swollen so bad” Zane replied with a shrug. I rolled my eyes and sat up. “It is nothing bad, his face deserves to after hitting him so bad” I replied with a blank facial expression.

 

“You all should know I don’t joke with Madison.” I sighed. Liam walked down from the stairs with his head low. He has a cut on his lips and his left side of his face is swollen.

 

“And what are you doing down here?” I ask immediately with disgust. He walked to me and fell at my feet, “Oh damn” Adrian said lowly as he backed away. 

 

Liam held my legs as he cried lowly, “what are you doing?” I ask him

“I am so sorry Zach, I shouldn’t have been that way to Madison. I was just scared she would distract you. Zach please forgive me” he cried

 

“Please brother, I won’t do it again. Please forgive me brother” he continued.

“I am not the one you are supposed to apologize to. The person you hurt deserves an apology” I replied and he nods his head vigorously.

“Yes I will apologize to her” he replied as he looks up at me.

 

Now I feel bad for him. I think I really dealt with him, last night was the first time I’d deal with any of my men. And Liam is also like a brother to me.

 

“Next time, hear from me. I am not dumb okay? I know who I carry around me” I replied as I pulled him up from the ground.

 

“Damn bro, I see what Madison has done to you. You are beginning to have a soft heart” Zane said dramatically as he walks to Liam and pulled him to a hug.

 

I acted like I didn’t hear him, I looked away to think of Madison. I don’t know if I can ever face her.

 

“Are you going to see her today?” Adrian asks; breaking me out of my thoughts.

 

“I don’t know. Do I give her some space? I don’t know how this shit works..i don’t want her to slap me again” I complain and he chuckles while the rest of them I the room gasped.

“She has slapped you before?” Zane gasped and I rolled my eyes. “Shit!” I cussed beneath my breath

“You are f*cking whipped” Adrian laughs at me. 

 

“Yeah thanks for telling me, I know” I roll my eyes and grab a bottle of water and start sipping.

 

“Any news from Greg?” Adrian ask as he took his seat. I shook my head. “He’s been quiet lately.” I say

 

Whenever Greg is quiet, it means he is preparing something big and I am fully prepared for it. “Okay so what do we do then?” Adrian asks as I sigh.

“We are heading out” I reply and turned to Liam.

“You are coming with us”

 

Kingsley POV

I really don’t want to agree with what my conscience is telling me, no. Madison can’t be the doctor Zach is seeing. I am really surprised by her action earlier, this is the first time Madison would be kicking me out of her house. Probably I really pissed her off.

 

Greg had texted me earlier, our gang would be going out for a hunt. It’s a payback hunt. Wherever we would find Zach and his men, we are going to attack.

 

I left Madison's house like 20 minutes ago, I am going to meet Kevin and the rest of our gang so we head out together. I held the steering wheel in my left hand then took out my phone with my right hand to place a call through Kevin.

He answered immediately, “Hey man, where did you go?” his voice came up and I sighed not wanting to talk about it.

“Where are the rest of you?” I replied instead

“Uh, the mansion of course...where are you?”

“I'm on my way, you all should head out, be ready because we are going for a hunt” I replied

“Okay, Greg told me about it too. We are on our way” he replied as I ended the call.

 

20 minutes later

Zach POV

I am seated in the car with Adrian, Liam, Zane and the driver. The rest of my men are behind us in another car. Adrian tilts his head to the right before he spoke up. “Hey dude, that car..isn't it familiar?” he said and I checked to see the car he was referring to; A Black Rolls Royce car. “Could that be Greg and his men?” I ask

“Greg is an asshole, he barely comes out so if is to be so, it would be his men I think” Zane replied and I shrugged.

 

Liam turned to the right and his eyes widens immediately, “Sh!t” he cussed. 

 

Suddenly, a black big jeep attacked us from the right causing our car to roll over to the left side of the road.
