Sebastian’s POV

I wasn’t pleased when Carl told me what he found in the omega part of the pack house, but he made me swear that I wouldn’t say anything about it. He had finally gotten to the point where he felt as if Leah trusted him, and the last thing we needed right now was for her to lose trust in him. We needed her to feel as if she had at least one ally on her side, even if he was from my pack. Emily told me that she thought they had become friends in the short time Leah was there, but Leah was an enigma. I don’t think anybody ever really knew what was going on in that woman’s mind. this isn't my first novel with dual mates, but this is the first that the mate bond had little to no effect when betrayed.

This is interesting - Eli never rejected her and she didn’t reject him would that not trump everything / it would be cool if she’s not even an OMeGA and more like a hidden female alpha which would explain why she can resist all this nonsense ...

one thing I really like in this book is that she is strong, and can resist the mate bond, and choose for herself. instead of novels where the guy is a jerk but the bond overpowers all logic. Leah is fun!
