CH 3: Queen and Babies

In Queen's Mansion

"Mom, I want daddy." A lovely girl suddenly said,

Queen looked up from her laptop. She was checking her project. She looks at her six-year-old daughter Kiya who has a big pout on her chubby lips. She blinks her green watery eyes. She can manipulate people using her green eyes and sweet voice. It is the first time the Queen's second daughter, Kiya, has mentioned her father.

"Why did you need Daddy all of a sudden?" Queen asked in confusion.

"Because the teacher told us to bring our parents to the parent-teacher meeting. And the teacher wants you to bring Daddy too." Before Kiya could say anything, Queen's third daughter Erica told Queen, who was desperately trying to keep her red curly hair out of her face.

But her curly hair was falling on her face again and again. Queen got up smiling and held Erica's hair back and put a clip on it. Erica smiled happily.

"Yes, Mama! And that's why I want Daddy to be in the living room with me. Will you call Dad over?" Kiya said, playing with her long hair.

"Dad is dead. That's why he's not with us. You know all this, yet you want him to come to our meeting? I've already told my teacher that our father is dead. So why does she want our father to come here?" Xaidan, Queen's first son, said in a cold voice.

Xaidan and Kiya are twins. Xaiden was born first, followed by Kiya, but despite being twins, their nature is completely different from each other. While Xaiden is a quiet and calm boy, Kia is a different cheerful, and talkative girl. In appearance, both of them look exactly alike. The only difference is in the colour of their eyes and hair. Xaidan has blonde hair and Kiya has dark brown long hair to suit her chibi face.

“Brother Xaiden, our father is dead. Why did you lie to me that he was alive?” Lucas, the fourth boy, asked quickly.

"I lied so that you don't feel bad. Because all our friends' fathers come to meet them but they never come to meet us. Don't think that our dad doesn't love us and Mom. Don't hate them so I called them a lie." Xaiden said in a cold voice.

"Xaiden, you can't talk about your father like that. You don't know anything about him. So stop misleading your brothers and sisters." Queen said calmly.

"But mom, brother Xaiden is right. Lucas, Kiya, and Nishi were always desperate to meet Daddy. That's why brother Xaiden lied to them that our father lives abroad due to work. That's why no one asks you anything about Dad. Well leave it, what difference does it make that our daddy is not with us? I am fine like this. I'm with my brother Xaidan." Danny, the fifth son, said with his mouth full as he continued to eat his pasta.

Danny has also inherited this quality of eating from his father. He was a thin-looking boy, but whenever he sat down to eat, he ate the food of ten people.

"No!! Mom, I want Daddy! I want daddy!" Kiya spoke with a sad voice and filled eyes. Looking at her it seemed as if she would start crying any moment.

"Now-now! Don't cry, my dear daughter." Queen quickly caressed Kiya's head and started calming her down.

"But Mom, he hurt you. He makes you cry so much. I don't want him to come here and make you cry again, even if he were alive." Xaiden said in a low voice. He behaves like an overprotective son.

"Who told you this?" Queen asked, looking at Xaidan in disbelief.

"I heard Aunty Megha was talking to Uncle Jack that Dad had a fight with you and that's why the accident happened.. He treated you badly and made you cry in the past." Xaidan looks at his guilt.

"You know it's bad to listening other conversations," said Queen calmly.

"I didn't listen on purpose. I just heard them when I was walking back to my room." Xaiden said hurriedly.

Queen sighs helplessly. She stands up and looks at her five priceless children. Then she noticed one baby girl was missing from the dinner table.

"Where is your little sister Nishi? Your school time is coming closer. Don't tell me she is still sleeping in her bed?" Queen diverted their mind.

"Mom, Nishi didn't want to go to school," Erica told her.

"But Why?" Queen asked in a surprised tone.

"She got bullied by other girls," Lucas said.

"Your sister got bullied and you never did anything?" Queen asked and looked at Xaiden.

"Mama, brother Xaidan beats the girls who bully Nishi," Kiya said proudly.

“Xaiden, what did I tell you about not beating any girls?” Queen asked him with a serious face.

“Mom, I was just protecting my sister,” Xaiden said, looking down in guilt.

"What's going on here?" Jack's voice rings there.

All the kids turn to the door.

"Hey, kiddos! Having fun without me?" Aliya asked as she walked into the dining room.

"Uncle Jack! Sister Aliya!" Kiya shouted as she ran with others to meet Jack and Aliya.

Queen sighs in relief knowing her kids got distracted by Jack and Aliya.

"Who misses me?" Jack asked with a cheerful tone.

"Me!" Kiya lifts her hand in the air.

"Me!" Erica also lifted her hand with a bright smile.

"No! I miss you soooo much, Uncle Jack!" Kiya said.

"No! No, I miss you so much...." Erica said, trying to lift her arm then Kiya.

"Why do girls act like this all the time?" Lucas asked Xaiden.

"Because they are girls," Xavier said calmly.

"Thank god, I'm not like them," Danny said, nodding his head.

Xaiden and Lucas give him a knowing look. Danny looks at them.

"What?" Danny asked in a panic.

"When Uncle asked who missed him you were the one to lift your hand," Lucas said in a mocking tone.

"No. I didn't..." Danny waves his hands in panic.

"We saw it, Danny. You don’t have to be ashamed of these little things." Xaidan said.

"Ok. If you say so." Danny said. Like always he accepts what Xaiden says without argument.

Before anyone says more. Aliya put both hands on Danny and Lucas' shoulders with an Evil smile.

"Boys, don't you want your gift? If you don't want it, then it's mine." Aliya said devilishly.

"Woh!!" Danny jumped in scared.

"Sister Aliya, you scare us," Lucas said in an irritated tone.

"I love to see your cute looks! Mission passed." Aliya pinches Danny and Lucas's cheeks at the same time.

"Ouch! My cheeks hurt!" Danny rubs his cheek as he steps back from Aliya.

"You know, I hate it when you do this," Lucas said as he rubbed his cheeks.

"I know! But I don't care." Aliya chuckles.

"Why didn't you bully brother Xaidan like this?" Danny pouted.

"Well, he will kill me if I touch him. And I got two boys to tease, so why do I tease the Devil?" Aliya struggles on her shoulders.

"She knows me better," Xaidan said calmly.

"Anyway, I have a gift that you asked for, so do you want it or not?" Aliya asked.

"We want! We want to!"Lucas-Danny said at the same time.

"Then follow me in the living room. And your gift is with Dad." Aliya pointed at her father as she walked to the bags she brought with her,

Danny-Lucas follows behind Aliya and Xaiden walks to Jack. Jack is sitting alone because Kiya and Erica have already run to their room with their gifts.

‘Uncle Jack, did you have anything for me?” Xaiden asked calmly.

Jack pulled out a large box and handed it to Xavier.

“You want this, so I brought you,” Jack said with a calm smile.

“Thank you, Uncle Jack.” Xaiden nods his head.

“I heard what you said to your Mother.” Jack patted the place beside him on the sofa as he said that.

Xaiden put the box aside and sat beside Jack.

“Did you think I’m a bad son?” Xaiden asked, looking down at his fingers.

“No, you are not a bad son. You are a brave and smart son who can protect your mother and siblings. I'm so proud of you.” Jack said with a soft smile.

“Then why does Mom think I'm wrong about my father?” Xaiden looks up at Jack’s face.

“Well, your Mom and Daddies are not feeling comfortable in their relationship. So your mother decided to leave them for good. It’s not your father who kicked her out or something. It’s your mother’s decision. But that accident killed them before they regretted their action.” Jack said, looking down at Xaiden.

“But why did Mom decide to leave him if he did nothing? Uncle Jack, I won’t accept that he didn’t do anything that made Mom leave him.” Xaiden said in a confident tone.

“Let’s say it’s an old thing. You are so young you can’t understand adult things. But keep this in mind. Whatever the reason behind your mom and daddy's separation. You have to keep up with your mother. She did what was right for you and your siblings can breathe freely in this life. And about your fathers, they died. And if they were alive your Mom is strong enough to deal with them. I hope you understand what I’m telling you.” Jack said in a serious tone.

“I understand, uncle. Don’t worry I’ll keep with Mom.” Xaiden said in a serious tone.

“One more thing. Your Mom had an accident before you all were born so she lost some of her memoirs about your father. If we keep mentioning her father, her health will get worse. So make sure no one mentions your daddies." Jack said as he gave him a calm smile.

“Why do you keep saying daddies or fathers? How many fathers do we have?” Xaiden asked curiously.

“They… You will find out when the right time comes. Now enjoy your gift. I’ll talk to your mother.” Jack places a hand on Xaiden's head with a gentle smile and walks to the Queen.

Queen keeps working on her laptop.
