The luxurious hall is filled with many rich families attending a luxurious wedding. On the stage Groom and Bride standing there accepting gifts and blessings from guests. The groom and bride look so happy.
Everyone admires the hall’s decoration. They feel like they are in a cloud. Everywhere is beautiful discretion. The stage was also made like a cloud. Groom and Bride look like they are standing on the clouds. Guests were impressed by the decoration. But still, the bride looked distracted for some reason. Mr James finds her staring at the door.
“Why are you looking at the door, Maya? Are you expecting any guests?” Mr James asked curiously.
“Yes, hubby. I’m waiting for our special guest.” The bride said with a soft smile.
“Special guest? Who? Do I know them?” Mr James’s curiosity grew.
“Yes, you know her. She helped us to arrange this wedding. You know the guests were so impressed by this decoration. They want to know who arranged this. I already invited her. I hope she comes.” The bride said happily.
“She already made it clear, Maya. She doesn't attend events and weddings. She is a successful event planner. Her Event company is the world's best company for all kinds of events, weddings and many more. She is such a busy woman. I don’t think she will come here.” Mr James said with a soft smile.
“But I want her to meet my friends. They want she wants their wedding planned.” Miss Maya said hopefully.
“You can tell them her company name.” Me James suggested to her.
“But…” Miss Maya tried to say.
“Mr James James-Miss Maya, Congratulations on your wedding.” The man's voice made them stop talking and turn to the man who was standing in front of them with flowers in his hands.
“Manager Jack! You come alone? Where is your boss?” Miss Maya asked in a hurry.
“You asked her to come, so here she is.” Jack pointed his hand to the front gate.
Both Groom and Bride look at the gates. Mr James' eyes widened and Miss Maya's face glowed as she saw a beautiful woman walking toward them with a soft smile. Her aura is so strong that all eyes turn to her. Her long silver gowns look so good on her slim body. Her long curly hair was arranged so beautifully. Her face had a calm expression.
“Queen!!” Miss Maya said with excitement.
“Queen, I’m glad you come.” Miss Maya's side with a bright smile.
“I never disrespect the Groom and Bride's invitation. Congratulations to both of you. You may find happiness in your life.” The Queen said as she handed them flowers and a gift box.
“Thank you, Queen.” Miss Maya said with a big smile.
“You don’t have to thank me. I came here because you invited me.” The Queen said with a soft smile.
“Queen, I want you to meet my friends. They are waiting for you. Do you have moments?” Mis Maya asked.
“I’m sorry, Miss Maya. But the Queen didn’t like to meet people....” Jack steps forward to stop Miss Maya.
“Sure.” Queen shows her hand to Jack to stop saying.
Jack wanted to say something but he didn’t want to spoil Miss Maya’s mood. On the other hand, this is the forest time Queen attending someone else's wedding. The past incident left a big gap between Queen's trust and her cold nature. Queen has a trust problem. She keeps her distance from men and never trusts women she meets in her workplace or her clients. But this time, Queen came here of her own will. It means she is thinking something that makes Jack feel worried. Seeing Queen's happy face he kept quiet to stop her.
Miss Maya took Queen to a group of women chattering and laughing. Maya introduced many of her friends. Jack keeps following the Queen closely. He felt relieved to know the Queen was talking with others with a sweet smile.
Very short time, the Queen became friends with other women. Jack handed them their business card. Time was going cheerfully, but all of a sudden Jack got alerts. His nose caught familiar scents getting closer. He looks around to find the person that holds that scent.
"Sorry-sorry! I am late." One of the sweet voices said in a hurry.
All of them look at the woman standing behind Maya. Myay turns her face to see, she is the woman.
"Hi, Natasha!! What a pleasant surprise." Maya gets in a hurry and gives Natasha a light hug. She makes sure her friend's belly does not hurt.
Natasha was eight months pregnant, her belly was visible in her long green gowns. The man beside her pulled a chair for her to sit.
"Congratulations, Maya!" Natasha gives her flowers in a gift box.
"Thank you, Natasha. Today, you brought your husband too. Hello Mr Elvin." Maya looks at the man beside Natasha.
"Hello, Miss Maya. Glad to meet you again. Last time we met on our wedding day." Elvin said with a small smile.
"Yeah. Please take your seats." Maya pointed at empty seats.
"No. Thank you, Miss Maya. But some of my friends are here. I'd like to talk to them. You women can carry on. I'll not disturb your chat. Honey, call me when you need me." Elvin kisses Natasha's forehead and walks away.
"Oh… Natasha, you are so lucky to have a gentle husband." one of Maya’s friends comments.
All the women laughed and Natasha just blushed. Suddenly, her eyes got closed as her nose hit the sweet scents.
"By the way, Natasha, meet my new friend Queen." Maya introduced Queen to Natasha.
As soon as Natasha hears that name her eyes open quickly and looks around to find Queen. Her eyes widened when she saw Queen's face six years later.
"Queen..." Natasha murmured Queen's name.
Queen looks up from her phone as she hears her name called in two different tones. One was Maya cheerful and the other one soft but panicked. Her eyes meet Natasha and her eyes stick to Natasha. Queen held her breath as she saw Natasha's beautiful eyes. Something moves in Queen's heart. Jack notices their expression.
"Queen, it's time to go home." Jack coughs lightly to break their eyes.
"Huh? Yeah…." Queen looked down at her watch and said.
"Queen…" Natasha is still in shock.
"Natasha, did you know Queen?" Maya asked in a surprised tone.
"Yes. Queen and I…." Natasha tries to say more.
"Miss Natasha and Queen are school friends, Miss Maya," Jack said in a hurry. He didn't give Natasha time to tell her about her relationship with Queen.
"It's that so?" Queen looks at Jack in confirmation.
"Yes, Queen. Miss Natasha and you were friends. Miss Natasha was out to study abroad. You never meet after sins. Looks like Miss Natasha is expecting a baby. You forgot her too." Jack told the Queen a fake story.
"Oh, I see. Hello, Natasha, nice to meet you." Queen held hands with Natasha.
Natasha was so shocked she just unconsciously held the Queen's hand. Both feel strong sparks running through their body. Queen pulled her hand back and got up. Natasha put her hand on her belly.
"Nice to meet you again, Miss Natasha. But I have to go now. Miss, Maya, congratulations once again. But I have to go now." The Queen smiled softly at Maya.
"Sure. Thank you for coming here." Miss Maya nodded her head and said goodbye to the Queen.
"I'm glad to come here. I have met new friends too." The Queen says goodbye to her and others and walks away with Jack.
Natasha didn't like Jack's behavior. She attempted to get up. But because of her big belly, she can't move fast enough to catch up to the Queen.
"Natasha, where are you going?" Maya asked.
"Restroom," Maya said as she walked away.
In the parking lot, Jack opened the door for Queen.
"Queen, wait!!" Natasha shouted at the Queen.
Queen stops as she hears Natasha's voice. She turns to look at Natasha coming there with a red face. She uses her whole power to walk faster.
"Let me talk to her," Jack said in a serious tone.
"But Jack, she is my friend," Queen said, looking at Natasha.
"I know. But she is related to your past. And you don't need to know what happened in the past or meet people that remind you of your past. You know what I am trying to say?" Jack said in a very serious tone.
"I know…" Queen nodded her head.
"Get inside. I'll talk to her." Jack pointed at the car.
"Ok. Be gentle with her. She is a pregnant woman." Queen looked at Natasha's round belly. She felt uneasy as she saw Natasha's belly.
"As you wish." Jack nodded his head.
Queen sat inside and Jack closed the door and locked it. He turns and faces Natasha.
"Jack, where are you taking her?" Natasha asked in a heavy tone.
"The place where she belongs to. Miss Natasha, you should also go back to your place." Jack said coldly.
"How are you talking to me like this? Don't forget that I'm still an Alpha! You are just a second command Beta! Keep remembering your place." Natasha growled at Beta.
"I already left my Beta title back to the pack, Alpha Natasha. Right now, here I'm just Queen's bodyguard. And I suggest you do not try to meet Queen again. She forgot about her past. What you five did with her, her mind erased all your memories. Let her live her new life happily. Just like you are living with your husband and baby." Jack said calmly.
Natasha takes back, looking down at her belly. She sighs softly and calms down.
"Ok-Ok… I want to meet her." Natasha said in a hurry.
"You can't!" Jack shakes his head.
"But why?" Natasha asked desperately.
"I told you the reason, Miss Natasha. Queen forgot everything about her painful past. She is living here with happiness. Do not disturb her. This is my advice to you to keep your distance. If you or the other four guys try to mess up Queen's life again, you all have to face me! I always stand in front of Queen as a shield. And you all know I'm not an easy person you can deal with." Jack said calmly and got inside the car.
"Jack, wait!!" Natasha keeps calling him.
But Jack this time didn't stop, he drove the car out of the parking lot. Natasha frowned in anger.
"How can she forget about me? I'm her mate!" Natasha murmured as she kept looking at the path where Queen's car went.
