CH: 4: Mom's Friend!

“Luna Queen, you have to get ready for today’s wedding arrangements,” Jack said as he bowed to Queen with full respect calmly.

“I know… Just five minutes. By the way, thank you for handling my babies.” Queen said with a soft smile.

“Don’t mention that. It's my job to take care of all of you.” Jack chuckles.

“They keep asking about their father. I do not remember anything about them. But when Xaiden says he hates his father I feel sad in my heart. Maybe he thinks their father is a bad guy. I can’t figure out what to do about this.” Queen sighs helplessly.

“Do you want to find a partner?” Jack asked curiously.

“What? New partner? You mean another dad from my babies?” Queen began to think.

“Yeah. I mean how many years are you going to stay without a partner? If you marry a good man who loves and cares for kids, it's best for you and the kids.” Jack suggests to her the benefits.

“Not a bad idea. I don’t need a partner, I just want a father for my babies.” Queen said calmly.

“As you wish. Now get ready, we are leaving for the wedding.” Jack said as he closed the subject for now.

“I need to talk to Nishi first.” Queen got up and walked to her daughter’s room.

As Queen stepped inside the kids’ room her daughter Nishi was sitting in her favorite place close to the big window. Her brown-honey colour glows in the sunlight. Queen quietly approached her.

“Nishi, why are you sitting here like this?” Queen asks in a sweet tone.

Nishi turns her face back to see her mother. Queen noticed she was holding a wolf toy in her hands all the time. Her face looks plain, and her blue-grey eyes hold sadness. Queen missed the breath seeing Nishi's sad face. Queen knew her daughter was more sensitive. She quickly got sad and happy in very short moments.

“Mom, I miss my dad,” Nishi said in a low and weak tone.

Hearing the same words from Nishi, Queen stopped for a moment. She really feels bad for her kids. They are desperate to meet their father. Queen now felt that she did not have any photographs of her husbands. This is very strange. If she shows the children their father's photo, maybe they will calm down. Queen thought she would ask Jack about the photos as soon as she got time. Maybe, they all would also visit her husband's grave. Thinking so, Queen kissed Nishi's forehead and caressed it lovingly.

"Just now! Are you missing your dad because you were bullied by the bad kids at school, right?" Queen picked up Nishi and made her sit on her lap.

Nishi didn't say anything, just nodded her head while hugging Queen tightly.

"Your brother was with you at that time and he also saved you from those bullies, right?" Queen asked lovingly while caressing Nishi's face.

“Yes, Brother Xaiden, Brother Danny, and Brother Lucas beat up the bully,” Nishi said softly.

“Then you should be happy. But you are sad only because the bullies teased you in your father's name?'' Queen asked.

“I'm glad Brother Xaiden, Brother Danny, and Brother Lucas beat up the bad guys, Mom. But they keep saying that you are a bad woman who has many affairs. That's why all my brothers and sisters look different from me. If Dad had been with us, they would not have criticized you like this. Those people are very bad. And I get very angry at those who say bad things about you. If there were a dad with us he would have taught good lessons to all of them. That's why I'm missing dad." Nishi said in a low voice.

“You don't have to listen to them. They're just jealous because you have five siblings to support, but they don't. It is better to forget the bad words of bad people forever. They all take pleasure in making you sad. Don't give them such happiness that it will harm you. Be strong like your brother Xaiden.” Queen said in a tone.

“Yes, Mom! I want to be like you.” Nishi said in a cheerful tone.

“If you want to be like me. Then don't take words to heart from those who look down at you. If they don't respect you, it means they don't deserve your respect as well. Just be yourself, you don't need to change for anyone.” Queen said in a soft tone.

"Make friends with those who are happy to see you smile. Not those who are happy to see you cry." Queen said while patting Nishi lovingly on the head.

"Like you chose Uncle Jack as your friend. Uncle Jack is always happy to see you happy." Nishi said in a cheerful tone.

"Yes, baby. Uncle Jack is my only best friend. And always will be." Queen smiled softly.

“Okay, Mom. I will be like you and make good friends like Uncle Jack.” Nishi said, smiling for the first time.

“Don't forget your mom and your brothers and sisters are always with you. So when you feel sad, come to us. Talk to us, ok.” Queen said with a sweet smile.

“Yes, Mom. You are the best Mom.” Nishi gives a hug to Queen.

“Now get ready. Wear a nice dress. You are coming with me.” Queen said.

“Huh? Then school?” Nishi asks in confusion.

“I'll talk to your teacher. Today, you are coming with me. Going out will help you to feel better.” Queen pinch tip of her nose as she chuckled.

“Okay, Mom.” Nishi jumps down from her lap and runs to her wardrobes.

Jack had some important work to do. That's why he went to the office in advance. So today Queen was taking all the children with her to her workplace. Aliya also joined them. The driver did not come today so Rani was driving the car. And the children were busy talking to Aliya. They are telling Aliya everything happening in the school. Only Xaiden was sitting in the passenger seat.

"Why didn't you sit with the others?" Queen asked as she drove.

"I just want to sit here with you, Mom," Xaiden said calmly.

Queen wants to say more but her eyes narrow at the road. She saw a car standing on the side of the road and a woman standing outside the car. Her car's bonnet was open. It means her car is not working. So Queen stopped the car.

“Mom, why did you stop the car?” Xaiden asked in confusion.

“Someone needs our help. Stay here, I'll take a look.” Queen parked her car on the side of the road and got out of the car.

“Excuse me. Your car is broken?” Queen asked politely.

The woman turned to see the Queen. Seeing the same pregnant Queen was a surprise.

“Hey, you are from last night's party. Miss… Miss….” Queen tries to remember her name.

“Natasha. You even forget my name, Queen. Anyway, my car stopped all of a sudden. I try to restart. But I don’t know what happened.” Natasha said sadly.

“I’m sorry, but I don’t remember. Mind if you come with us? We will talk at my office and my technician will repair your car. If you really want to come. I’m not forcing you.” Queen said in an apologetic tone.

“Okay, if you don’t mind. Actually, I feel very tired.” Natasha rubs her bump as she says.

“Ok.” Queen nodded her head.

Queen's eyes stop on Natasha’s belly and she feels uncomfortable. Ignoring her uneasy heart she walked to her car.

Queen opened the back seat door.

“Mom, what happened? Why did you stop the car?” Kiya asked many questions at the same time.

“Calm down. One of my old friends was here. Her car was not starting. Give her someplace, ok.” Queen said in a hurry.

“Mom, friend!! Yeah…” Kiya became excited.

“I want to meet her too.” Erica also looks excited.

“Kiya-Erica, keep in your place,” Aliya told them to stay in their place.

Before the Queen told them more she felt Natasha behind her. For some reason, Queen's nose remembers Natasha’s attractive scents. Queen turns to Natasha. Natasha is holding her handbag.

“Is someone else with you?” Natasha asked nervously.

“It’s just my five kids inside. Don’t worry they won’t disturb you.” Queen said with a smile.

“Your Kids?” Natasha asked in a shocking tone.

Natasha's eyes turn to the back seats. She saw Kiya’s small face poking out from the door. She waved her hands at Natasha. Natasha waves her hand nervously.

“Kiya, go inside. Give space to Aunt Natasha.” Queen said to Kiya.

“Ok, Mom,” Kiya said and shifted inside.

“If you feel free you can sit next to me.” Queen pointed at the passenger seat.

“No. I mean, I love to sit with kids.” Natasha said that because she was excited to know about kids' things.

“That’s good. Here, get inside.” Queen holds the door for Natasha.

“Thank you.” Natasha gets inside slowly.

Queen just smiled softly and closed the door. Queen got into the driving seat.
