Chapter 23

I saw a commotion in front of the gate. The guarding knights are trying to stop the priests who are riding a horse. I walked towards them, then ask them.

“May I ask what the priest is doing here and trying to forcefully enter my mansion?” I asked as I walked near the front gate. I turned around and faced them.

“We are here to meet his holiness, the high priest,” the priest in the middle said.

“The high priest is currently not inside the mansion, he’s some place that needs purification,” I told them.

“Where may that place be, my lady?” he asked.

“That is a place where you cannot enter… only those whom I gave permission to, may enter that place,” I told them.

“Then give us your permission,” he said.

“When I said no… that means I will not change my mind and I will not give you my permission,” I said, then looked at them with my cold eyes.

“Who do you think you are to stop us?” he asked. Instead of answering his question, I just turned around and was about to walk, when I felt the
