Chapter 22: Danger In A Memory

Jack rushed to Kylie immediately upon sensing her unusual state. Davies snapped out of his trance as well and held Kyle's arm, roughly nudging her. His attempts proved futile however, for Kylie kept mumbling those same words. And her actions drew the attention of the guide.

"There should be no noise in Levity," the beautiful guide reiterated. Her smile remained, but her gaze was cold and unfeeling. Several ominous lights flashed in her eyes as a creepy aura was exuded from her slender frame. She cared not for Kylie's present state. All she knew were the rules of Levity. And the rules stated clearly that no noise should be made in Levity!

The prominent guests who stood with them silently took a few steps back upon feeling the guide's change. Although they were figures of great power and authority, none of them seemed eager to get on the bad side of the Exhibution Guide.
