It’s been exactly two weeks since Tilda forgave me. Honestly, these past two weeks have been some of the best I’ve had in a long time. We’ve spent most of our time together. The kids also went back to school, and Aiden was excited about it—even though Austin didn’t want to go.

He’d gotten a bit too used to being home and was moody all day when they resumed, even when Tilda and I came to pick them up. He wasn't as happy to talk about his day as his twin brother.

I made sure to take them shopping almost every day after school just for a few hours, so they could pick out things they wanted and have as much fun as they wanted.

Spending time with my kids and Matilda has been one of my happy pills. Even though Tilda was bent on not giving me a chance. I had asked her again and again and her answer has been a firm no. But I wasn't giving up. I will only keep hoping while trying everything I could for her to understand that I wasn't the man I used to be to her.
