"Mom? Where are you going? " I say while struggling to get out of the bed.

What was that look of vengeance in her eyes?

What was she planning to do?

I walk out of my room and I look for my mom's scent.

I go downstairs and make my way to the pack house.

"How dare you do this?" I can hear my mom screaming.

"She is your mate for gods sake, why would you reject her? "My mom continues.

" Son, is this true? "The alpha said.

"Yes it is dad!" My pathetic mate said.

"Why?" The alpha asks.

"Have you seen her? She is absolutely pathetic and she doesn't even have any ranks. My pups would be too weak and all because of the useless excuse of a mother they are going to have ! "He says with no emotion.

My heart breaks all over again at his hurtful words. What did I do to deserve all this? Couldn't I get a loving, caring mate? Instead I have to have this selfish bastard as my mate!

"What did you just call me?" My mates voice snaps me out my thoughts.

Wait...what? Did I actually say that out loud?

" YES YOU DID! HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY SON AND YOUR FUTURE ALPHA! YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR PLACE! "The alpha says in his alpha voice and I start trembling in fear.

" I...I'm..I'm...I'm..." I stammer.

"You see father? My pathetic excuse of a mate can't even form  a proper sentence!  How do you expect me to accept her when she is so weak?" he says.

There goes my heart breaking again.

"Mom, please come with me." I say and hold out my hand to her.

" I won't leave this house till he accepts you." She says with finality.

"Mom he doesn't want me and I won't force him to. I already accepted his rejection mom. Please don't make this worse." I say.

" I approve of the fact that my son rejected you. You truly are weak! I can't have your weakness  in my pack any longer! " he says to me. "We will have a pack meeting in one hours time. You must attend!....."Now get out! " he says the last part with disgust.

We walk out of the pack house and go straight to our house..

" I'm so sorry April. If I had just kept quiet then none of this would have happened! " she says.

"It's okay mom,  we'll get through this together." I assure her.

One hour later:

" I called this meeting to announce something." The alpha begins. "Today the Robinson family insulted your future alpha! I cannot tolerate such behaviour! You must respect your alpha at all costs! " he says. " they did not do that so today I will set an example for anyone who ever tries to insult, disobey or question your present and future alphas." He continues.

"Will Mark and Rebecca Robinson please step forward."

My parents step forward while giving me  hopeful smiles even though there is nothing good about this situation.

" FOR DISRESPECTING YOUR FUTURE  ALPHA I SENTENCE YOU TO DEATH! YOUR EXECUTION WILL BE HELD TOMORROW AT NOON...TAKE THEM TO THE DUNGEONS!  " He says with his alpha voice..

There are gasps from the crowd.

"Isn't that a little too extreme? "Someone in the crowd asked.

" SILENCE! " he roars! "You will do exactly what I say! If anyone has a problem kindly raise your hand!" He says with sarcasm dripping from every word.

When no one steps forward, he continues :

"Now, April Robinson please step forward! " He says.

I take a step forward and I can feel all eyes on me and it makes me uncomfortable.

"Since you are very weak. I will give you a position that you deserve. From tomorrow noon you will be the packs omega! You will take orders and do them accordingly! No questions asked." He says.

An omega? Seriously? Once I become an omega I will never be able to feel my wolf again...no please no!

"Son,what do you think about it?"

"It's perfect father! Just perfect!" He says while smiling wickedly at me.

" TAKE HER TO THE DUNGEONS! "He tells the guards.

Is this what my life has become? I was rejected, I will be an omega come tomorrow, my parents will be killed right in front of me! And to make it worse is the fact that my mate is behind all this!
