JONATHAN'S POV

I was fuming by the time I got in my car. It was a good thing Elon came with me because I wouldn't have been able to drive in that state. What kind of monster have I been living with? How far did she really go trying to come between Ariana and I? After all these years of trying to find her, trying to figure out why she left so suddenly, I realize that Eva knew all along. She was the reason for all of this in the first place.

Elon didn't speak. He knew I needed time to calm down so he drove without haste even though he knew I was desperate to get home. It was his way of telling me to calm myself down during the ride abut I knew that was impossible. I might be calm now but I wouldn't be once I set my eyes on her.
