Armina's perspective:

"Armina!" Tristan's voice yells; I look up; seeing him near the entrance to the cave. My vision barely able to make him out, as I try to fight against the crippling pain. I blink a few times, everything coming into focus. There are large chains locking him down heavily into the stone. "Tristan" I sigh, so happy to see he is still alive. I push myself to focus, noticing the many wolves filling the area.

Only Tristan is chained. The rest are unconscious. "His a stubborn one your mate" Cassandra laughs, "His a piece of shit" Leon growls, kicking him roughly in the ribs. I hear the sickening crack of several of his ribs. "Do you feel tough Leon?" Tristan manages to laugh through the pain, Leon reacts quickly, growling as he kicks him hard in the face. Tristan just laughs again, spitting out blood as he glares at him. "I knew you couldn't be a true Alpha" Tristan chuckles darkly. Leon's body changes; his whole body tense as he bends down to Tristan's face.

    Tristan's perspective: This can't be happening. I'm holding onto my brother, his body unmoving. I was ready to go, ready to give my life knowing he was safe. Hearing he did this for me is not a comfort; instead it makes the pain in my chest stronger as I cling onto his lifeless body. Watching him, all I see is the little boy I grew up with. The one who would come to me with bright eyes, always looking to me to guide and protect him. I failed him. I failed my family. I don't want to live in a world where he doesn't exist. I feel everyone lean down beside me. Feel their own love and grief. I can't hold it together, my breathing nothing but deep sobs. There is no way to save him, no way to bring him back.     Nathanial's perspective: "I love you" I whisper to Armina, knowing she can hear me. She always hears me. I see her eyes widen, understanding filling them as she starts to shake her head. I can see the fear all over her as I move; running as fast as I can towards Tristan, hoping I'm not too late as I see the life fade from him before my eyes. I throw my body forward, pushing into the power, throwing everything I can into pushing Tristan out of it. His body landing heavily beside me as I try to hold back my screams. The power surrounding me tearing my soul from my body. 'I love you all' I send in the pack link. Armina's perspective: I see his decision, frozen as I watch him run at Tristan. It's like it's happening in slow motion, his legs taking each step heavily.     Nathanial's perspective:I can't breathe, time slows as I watch her hand move. My broken body attempting to move, knowing there is no way I am going to be able to reach her in time to save her. Armina can see it, fear crossing her eyes for the first time; I try to scream, just as Shayne appears behind Serena, a large knife thrusting into her chest from behind as he pulls her back against it. "No one hurts my daughter" he growls, his hands moving quickly as he snaps her neck in the next movement. Serena's body goes limp, Shayne doesn't stop, taking the knife from her chest and stabbing it into her throat, pulling hard and removing her head clear from her body; throwing it to the ground with a growl.     Nathanial's perspective: "What do you mean Mira?" I demand, it can't end this way. "She has fully accessed the site, the spell has already been started.
