Chapter 36. Angry

For three days, Gia had guided Emma into an extenuating training, a very harsh and intense guide into the world of the dragons' martial arts. The Kingdom of Avalor was praised for their master in any kind of fighting technique and their war strategies. If someone was to seek any kind of guidance on those arts, they would seek a dragon expert.

Emma thought that Gia would lower his standards and power on her teaching to not anger the Duke. However, Gia was in no way delicate or gentle. She was known for being especially harsh with the new recruits, and she would never break that principle.

Even with the presence of the Duke and Master Jin, she will never change her methods and her character that much. Maybe she was a bit soft as the Duchess was a delicate witch with not that much power in her fragile body, but not enough to lower her standards. What would the world say if she didn't give the Duchess the best training? That only would bring shame to her family.
