Chapter 6 "Who are you?"

After their shower they get dressed and lay in his bed.

"Ok, I need answers. You have obviously been trained to fight like that." Axel stated.

"My dad wanted a boy. My mom died giving birth to me. I bet you think my name is Jessica and Jess as nickname? Well, my real name is Jessie." She laughed. "Owww"

"Dad taught me to be the son he always wanted. How to protect myself, how to fight, and how to shoot. While most girls were shopping and wearing silly girly dresses, I was with dad learning how to fight and shoot. But don't feel sorry for me. I never cared for that girly shit. And I had Jade and Paula. We did girl stuff." She smiled.

"How long you known them?" Axel asked.

"Since kindergarten." Jess smiled. "Practically my whole life."

"Who's your dad?" Axel asked.

"I'm really tired can we put a hold on this till later? My head is starting to pound really bad." She said rubbing her temples.

"Sure. I'll get you some Tylenol. But this conversation isn’t finished." He warned.

She took the meds and snuggled into his chest. And sleep takes over soon after. At least the Trish situation is handled. He hoped.

Next morning when they woke, he tried to ask about her dad again. She tried distracting him by sex, but he won't do it due to her bruised ribs.

"Fine then feed me because I am starving!" She moaned.

They go down to the kitchen and eat. Just as they are finishing Jade and Paula run in and steal her from him. The girls are sitting in a booth talking. Guys are in church in a MC meeting.

"You have to tell him." Jade warned.

"I know, but I'm scared to death he won't want me when he finds out where I who my dad is. He's going to be so pissed." Jess sighed.

"But more pissed if he finds out from someone else." Paula cautioned.

"I know." Jess sighed.

Just then the office door opened, and church lets out. Axel came over and sat down beside her without even looking at her. Bear kissed Jade taking a seat beside her as did Jett with Paula. The silence was defining. The guys were looking at Jess.

Axel finally looked at her. "So, Jess, want to tell us who your father is?"

"Yes, Jess who is your father?" Jett asked.

Paula smacks him in the chest.

"You already know?" Jess looked at Bear asking, then glared at Jade and Paula.

"Did you really think I wouldn't check out someone before welcoming them into my club and home? Come on Jess you of all people know better than that! Don't worry, your friends didn't give you up." Bear responded.

"Axel let me explain." Jess begged. "I was afraid you wouldn't stay with me if you knew. Not many guys would."

Before he can respond a group of bikers come through the outside door. Jess froze and went pale. It's the Hell's Demons MC. In walks Sarge, Reaper, Ryder, Cross, Diesel, Dragon, and Blade.

Jess and the rest of them stand up to meet the Hell's Demons. Jess goes to Sarge her dad and he wraps her in a hug.

"Daddy" Jess sighed.

"Princess." Sarge replied.

Yes, that's right. She's a real MC princess to one of the biggest MC around. They have charters all over the world. Her dad's charter has close to a hundred men. Reaper tries to hug her when her dad releases her, and she shoves him away.

The guys snicker. And he barely holds his temper. He knows her dad will put a bullet between his eyes if he saw him harm her in anyway. The rest of the guys hug her.

"Hey sweetheart, looks like you've been in a tussle?" Ryder asked.

"Nothing I couldn't handle." Jess replied.

"Never doubted it for a minute." Ryder responded kissing her forehead.

"Sarge let's go to my office." Bear said. "Jett, Axel, church."

Sarge, Reaper, Diesel, Bear, Jett, and Axel go to his office. The rest the guys go to the bar. The girls go sit in a booth.

"Axel wouldn't even look at me." Jess whispered.

"It's a lot to take in. He just needs time to process it all. I mean you are like royalty. Any man screws that up and it won't end well for him." Jade replied.

"Shit Jade, she doesn’t need to hear that! Besides, looks like Reaper fared well! Especially after all he put her through.” Paula exclaimed.

The guys sat down and introduce themselves and titles.

"Thanks for keeping me updated on my daughter Bear. And for watching over her. Her safety is my number one concern." Sarge explained.

"Of course. That's bro code of the MC." Bear responded.

"Now I'm sure you all wonder why I called this meeting? Well seems my princess has taken a liking to your club and the area. You know I can't allow her to go anywhere that's unsafe. I hear you've got a problem with another club? So, how are we gonna work this out for my princess to stay here where she wants to be?" Sarge asked.

"I told you it's too risky here, she needs to come home!" Reaper raised his voice.

"She's a grown woman and can choose what she wants. We can keep her safe!" Axel retorted.

Reaper snorts in disgust. "Yeah, that's why she's got bruised ribs and a cut lip."

"It was a fair fight in our ring and supervised by us. We would have stepped in at any minute if she needed us." Jett replied.

"Reap enough. You know firsthand she can handle herself in the ring." Sarge warned.

Diesel snickered and Reaper glared at him.

"Wait, are you the ex?" Bear asked.

Reaper doesn't respond but Diesel shakes his head grinning like a fool and Sarge sighed shaking his head. Bear, Jett, and Axel burst out laughing. Diesel joins them.

"How'd you like her parting shot? Pun intended?" Bear asked.

The guys howl in laughter all over again.

Reaper slammed his hand down on the table. "What would you have me do? Smack her around for aiming a gun at me and shooting at me? Prez would put a bullet in me. I'd lose my title and cut and maybe my life."

The guys sober up somewhat.

"No but I would have damn sure taken that gun from her the minute I saw it. And I damn sure would not have asked her to join you and your 2 whores in bed!" Axel retorted.

"Fuck no, she would have really shot me if I tried that!" Reaper replied.

The men howl in laughter again. Reaper is pissed off and glaring dangers at Axel. He didn't miss him sitting with her when he came him. Or how she looked at him.

"Ok let's figure out how to solve this problem your club has." Sarge replied.

The men talk and work out a plan. The guys have been in church for a long time. Jess is so worried over what's going on. She constantly fidgets or gets up and paces. Ryder talks to her for a while. She told him about Axel, and he tried to reassure her.

"I just know daddy will try and make me go back." Jess said.

"Honey your dad will give you anything you ask for." Jade replied.

"What is taking so long? They've been in there for hours!" Jess asked.

Ryder rubbed her shoulder to comfort her.

"Girl, you know how they are. Probably talked for 30 minutes then the rest of the time shooting the bull and drinking," Jade responded.

"Who's been talking?" Ryder asked.

The girls laugh and roll their eyes. The guys finally come out of the office. Jess is waiting for Axel to see his face. Bear and Diesel are laughing.

Sarge and Jett are talking. Axel is heading for her as is Reaper. Oh shit. This should be good.
