Arriving at the pack, we were greeted by the Alpha himself. He was around Eric’s age and they seemed to be good friends. I wasn’t sure what to think about him, since he kept glancing at me as if he were trying to figure me out.

“Oh, by the way, this is Leilani, the girl I was telling you about.” Eric said halfway through their conversation about how long it has been since they saw each other last.

I hadn’t even realized he hadn’t introduced me, but the moment he did the expression on the Alpha’s face changed. As if recognition hit him, his eyes widened in surprise as a large smile appeared on his face. He was a handsome guy, but not in the way Eric was.
