Chapter 59

Leilani-

I wasn’t sure how long we ran, but when the sun started to rise, I knew we would need to return soon. Slowing my pace, the boys did as well until we all came to a complete stop. It was almost as if I could feel their emotions in this form because I could sense they also knew it was time to head back.

Wanting to run back, I turned to head in the opposite direction we had been running. Thankfully they joined me, considering I had figured they would have shifted back right there. The run back was just as delightful other than the fact it didn’t last nearly as long as I thought it would.

When we reached the yard of the packhouse, I realized I didn’t know how to shift back. Eric and Tate shifted with ease back into their human form and even Archer joined us shortly later, already in his human form. I tried to think of all my lessons from class but couldn’t remember if it had been covered in a lesson.

“I know you don’t want to shift back, but we need to get back inside before a
