Well, I couldn’t be mad that she did answer at least one of my questions. It wasn’t the one I needed to be answered, but it gave me a bit of closure. Just knowing her reasons made it feel as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

I stood there for more than I should have, even after the attacks started, completely lost in thought. My eyes moved past the Luna at the Alpha, who I realize was possibly the closest thing I had to a father figure. He hadn’t been perfect, but I should know better than anyone that standing up against Trish wasn’t the easiest thing in the world.

After this is done, I hope there is something I could do for him. I wasn’t sure what, but as long as he stayed alive, I was going to find a way to help him. Shaking out of my thoughts, I focused on the war that had broken out in front of me.
