Leilani-“Come on, I know you are wanting to get this done, but you need to snap out of it.” I heard Archer’s voice in my mind.It wasn’t the first time he has tried to get me to come out of my trance, but I have been ignoring him. He was right, I was trying to get this done. Eric-With everything I possessed, I had to try to keep Desmond at bay. He was ready to come out and rip out Mavis’s throat, for forcing herself on me and kissing me. Leilani-“Are you ready?” I asked Archer, who was now in his dragon form.“I will follow you anywhere.” He spoke into my mind.Knowing I couldn’t push the time anymore, I transported Archer and I through the threshold that divided the two realities. I trusted Jarod to join us when he was ready, he had left to get Delilah and any other help he could. Leilani-In absolute horror, I stood there as Archer moved toward me. I could feel it through our bond that he was going to attack me. It was in that instant I realized why Mavis kept looking over at him.“You need to fight it!” I yelled at Archer, pleading with him.It was foolish of me to think I could take on Mavis with extraordinarily little time to learn centuries of magic. I had played directly into her hand. Now she had somehow managed to take control of Archer.There was no way I could fight him. The last thing I wanted to do was kill him or even hurt him. Leilani-Breaking the hex on the door, I walked in and saw the other half of my soul standing next to the bed. She gave me a soft smile, which looked both sad and knowing. Before I could say anything, she began speaking.“If we do this, there is no going back. If death comes to us, it will be forever.
