Alex's Pov

Drinking yourself to stupor the night before work was definitely a bad idea.

I sat up in bed, holding my head in my hand like Uefa had decided to have their matches in my head.

Hold up, I pushed the covers back and I stared down at my half naked self.

Daphne, that lady had guts, I had to give her that.

She was the only one who could do something like that. At least she had the decency not to take off my trousers.

The door creaked open and Daphne poked her head into the room.

“Good morning Mr. Alex, may I come in?” She asked.

“You're halfway in,” I muttered while pressing my fingers to my temple.

“What do you want so early in the morning?”

She did come in, in her hand was a tray with a plate that was covered which she set on the bedside drawer. "How do you feel?"

"Why do you care?" The headache seemed to increase with every word I uttered.

“You drank yourself to stupor last night so I brought you this.” She uncovered what she had in the tray and the foul smell of garlic , or
