“Are you ready?” Justin asked her as he put the last luggage in the trunk of his car. “Your other things already arrived at my place this morning.”
Ria and her family got out earlier than their actual day of leaving.
She nodded as she looked up at the building where she lived and stayed hidden for the past years. She felt a sudden nostalgia and at the same time, sorrow. This was where Lumiere grew up.
She took a deep breath and walked to the front seat of the car. It was the best decision to leave. Besides, Grant and his parents won’t be bothering her anymore. Grant never leaves a text or call and it means that their connection is really over.
They never had anything to start with. Being with him is just pure business and nothing more.
