Alexander’s POV

She looked so beautiful, even while she was asleep.

It wasn’t something I wanted to think of but it kept creeping into my mind anyways, forceful and persistent. I was standing at the door of her room and she looked so peaceful. Maya was laying in the bed, curled up on her side and her silky hair scattered all around the pillow. Her chest was rising and fall steady, it was calling and if felt so unreal. Her soft features were highlighted as the moonlight shone into the room through the window and reflected on her. For a moment, I wanted nothing more than to walk into the room.
