Alexis's POV

I knew right away that she was going to be the end of me somehow and I had to do everything to get out of here before it escalated, she was just like a drug to me, one that I would never get tired of taking and would get used to.

I let out a sigh when she jerked, scooping her juice as I slipped it in-between my lips while making sure she was looking me straight in the eye.

She threw her face away, attempting to hide when I held her back, making sure she wasn't going to tear her face off.

“ Let's get you dressed so we can go on a proper date” I said to her, giggling inwardly because it was something I knew she didn't have a clue about.

Making her work in circles was just a part of the plan which was supposed to get her mind off whatever we had going, I didn't want her to know what I had in mind.

Her eyes melted into shock at my words before she questioned.

“ Really? Are we going out?”

“ A proper date” I stood up to my full height, deciding to pack up the lingerie

  • Contractual Marriage: The billionaire's Woman    Remorse

Alexis's POV My eyes fell on Samantha who had a grin caressing her face, one which would fall soon enough when she got to know what it was that I had to say. “ So…” her finger curled around the champagne flute, which had sparkling wine dancing around its glass before she reclined against the chair. “ What do you have to say? It sounded urgent, have you thought about what I said last? Finally got to know that you being with Nortia is a wrong choice, and you being with me is the right thing to do?”My hands clenched my phone which I slanted horizontally at her before nudging at her to go ahead. “ You might want to see this.”Her face paled while she watched before glaring at me, her voice faltered as she asked;“ What is that? What do you want me to do with that?”“ You know what that means, don't you?” “ And so?” “ If you are intelligent enough, you will know what that means,”Snapping her purse off the table, she took to her height wanting to sashayed out of the room when I blur

  • Contractual Marriage: The billionaire's Woman    Walked on

Alexis's POV “ Get a grasp of yourself,” my father repeated while he tried to get me up. “ Do you know what you are doing or how you look like at the moment? A shadow of yourself, you made a mistake and the least that you can do is rectify it.”“ She doesn't want me anymore.” Nortia wasn't one who said words such as those but she had, and I knew she meant every single word she had said, she didn't have any remorse while saying it, showing just well enough that she didn't care a tad bit about whatever it is I think or what anymore thinks as well. “ You being this way is the last thing she would want, what will being a weakling solve? Or sulking when you ought to be a man?” “ You are to take control of the situation, the ball is in your court and the least you can do is make sure you play it just right, Nortia left, fine, but you can always pursue her.”“ How is that even possible?” The look on her face told me she wasn't going to come back to me ever again. I had a chance and I bl

  • Contractual Marriage: The billionaire's Woman    Cruel

Nortia's POVI couldn't hold my words and I knew they must have hurt him but even at that, I couldn't care about that. He did that first, broke me beyond repair, he did what he had done while making sure that I wouldn't be able to raise a fist and the least I could do was pay him back. The jab at my chest punctured through immediately I had shut the door behind me, while listening to the whiff which sounded as though he was in tears and I was tempted to walk back in, and let him know I didn't mean all of that, but I couldn't. He had to know what it felt like as well. “ Miss, are you ready?” The doctor gazed trailed behind me at the door waiting for Alexis to step out as well when I shook my head. “ He isn't ready yet, but I would like to go ahead first.”“ You should lay on the table.”I did what he wanted, watching him as he held out his hand, running a cream on it which I wasn't so familiar with. “ I am going to do this now, you might feel a tingly sensation but you don't have

  • Contractual Marriage: The billionaire's Woman    Worst mistake

Alexis's POVWe were seated just across each other but I could sense it, the hostility which hung above us, the one which contradicts everything we shared so far, and I didn't know what to do about it. I wanted this to work, us, if we had a chance even when it was looking like it was going to be almost impossible and it had turned to a dream which was far from my reach, but I really hoped it wasn't going to be that. The doctor stood at the end of the room, waiting for when we would step in, and sitting just across from her confirmed just how much weight she had lost, and the thought that I was the one who had caused all of that broke me. She wasn't supposed to be looking this way, she was supposed to be all smiles while staring at me, her laughter crackling through warming my heart, that's what I wanted to feel like, what I had thought it would be like, but she sat, her face dim as she gazed at me. I was wondering if I had made a good choice, it would have been best if my mother

  • Contractual Marriage: The billionaire's Woman    Cruel

Nortia's POVWhen I finally got my senses back on where exactly I was, I found myself bound to a chair, while I tried to recollect what exactly had happened in the past hours but my memories were blank. The only thing I could recall was talking to Samantha before I sauntered into the restroom where I lost consciousness. I knew somehow she had to do this, but how was I to prove that so it wouldn't look like merre allegations? Flipping my head to the sound, I listened with rapt attention for footsteps or anything aside from the constant water which dropped by my side, each drop messing with my head. I swallowed, turning to the side to get a glimpse of where I was, but it was difficult to do so. All I wanted to do was be out here, back home where ... .my baby, my hand strayed to my stomach, patting it while my heart picked up the pace, I couldn't think about the fact that anything had happened to it, could it be that I had lost it? There was no way that was possible, I shook my head,

  • Contractual Marriage: The billionaire's Woman    At risk

Alexis's POV The door rattled open which startled me as I turned to stare at who had just burst in because that seemed like the word I was supposed to use and it was the last person I was expecting. The last I heard, I knew my mother was in Switzerland with Nortia and she had refused adamantly when my father had pleaded with her to come back so what was she doing here? And the look on her face, was that fright? Or tears? That had me standing up in an instant as I made my way toward her after training around, until I was inches away from her. “ What's wrong?” I asked, waiting for an answer, while I tried to look beyond the fright which cascaded her face but I couldn't do that. “Nortia,” she rasped out, placing a hand on my shoulders. My sense heightened at the mention of that name because there was no way something would have happened to her, I wouldn't know what to do if anything happened to her. My heart panted so fast that I had to whisper to myself to take a chill pill, my mo
