Evil plan

Rasha held back the pain in her throat as she choked on her food. The question was inappropriate to be uttered over the dinner table. Rasha's appetite was suddenly gone, as the man in front of her was making things worse instead of helping her gain an appetite in the midst of her first trimester nausea.

Making her depressed? Rasha had only been in the house for a few days (let's just say that), and now she was already considered a major burden in the brown-eyed man's life.

"Kevin, I hope you'll understand these words that I've said to you over a hundred times. I don't want this at all." Rasha argued, showing her displeasure in front of Kevin.

Kevin snorted sarcastically, laughing in a tone that was very uncomfortable for Rasha to hear. She wished she could get out of that house as soon as possible, after all Rasha was not a woman who worshipped wealth.

"Then why don't you go out there and tell my mom that you want to stop living here and stop interfering with my relationship with my girlfriend?" Kevin glared as he pointed his index finger at the door.

"I already did! How many times do I have to tell you?! It's as if your mom rejects everything I say, she's in denial about the facts between us."

Rasha took a deep breath and then continued speaking again. It must have been very hard for her to argue with a selfish and stubborn man like Kevin.

"Why don't you just explain to him---"

"I did it too, you sly woman! That old woman also denied my words! Aren't you her favorite daughter-in-law? She should have listened to you."

Rasha was silent, she rubbed her forehead and closed her eyes. She felt resigned and could no longer speak, if there was a panic room in the house it would be very useful for Rasha to scream dozens of times there.

"So?" Rasha spoke up again. "We've both tried. No one can change your mother's decision. What do you want? You want me out of here? Well, I'd like that too. But your mom will definitely scold us severely."

Kevin scrunched up his face, his sardonic look intensifying. Rasha was right and Kevin didn't like to admit it. He couldn't possibly argue with his mother's decision, she was so desperate. What would Angelina do? Go on a rampage and destroy Kevin's company shares? Probably much worse than that. He already knew how bad his mother was.

Rasha sighed, the rice on her plate was not eaten much, maybe 3/4 of the original portion was still left. She chose to put down the cutlery and left the table, to hell with Kevin, her mood was more important than that.

"That woman is getting annoying and dares to fight me. Whose house is she in now? How could she raise her voice in front of me. Tsk, it's all because of that old woman who always defends her." Kevin monologued in annoyance.

"Honey, why does your voice sound upset?"

"I was just arguing with that annoying woman," Kevin said.

Now Kevin is talking on his cell phone with Lucia. Kevin thought he'd be more relieved if he told his girlfriend his problems.

"That woman? You mean your mom?" Lucia sounded curious.

"Nope, hahaha. You're so funny, that's how you describe my mom in your mind. But you're not wrong, you're just not quite right. I had a fight with Rasha, she didn't give in and was selfish," Kevin said.

"Hm? Don't worry about it too much, she can't do anything without having anything." Lucia tried to calm her lover down. "I think your mom really loves that woman."

"Yeah, you're right. My mom even defends that woman more than I do, even though she's only been in this house for a short time. She's acting like someone who's lived here for decades," Kevin said irritably.

"I'm also upset to hear your story, I can't imagine that I'll be in the same house as her. No, I don't want to."

"Lucia, don't worry about it. My marriage with him won't last long. After she gives birth, I'll divorce her." Kevin sounded softened. "I don't want to spend my time with that woman who intends to drain my wealth either."

Lucia was silent, she felt insulted but there was no way she could show her feelings.

"You sound so tormented by that, it made me think of something," Lucia said.

"Thought of what?" Kevin's voice sounded curious.

"Why wait nine months when you can do it now?"

Kevin's eyebrows raised, he started trying to guess what Lucia was thinking. A few seconds later he gasped and glared, his eyes glancing to the side with sweat dripping from his temples.

"So---"

"Yeah, I'm sure you know what I'm thinking. Do you agree? Unless you want to wait until--"

"Of course I want to. Gosh, I just thought of doing that, why didn't I do that a long time ago?" Kevin smiled happily and leaned back in the chair.

"Do you have any ideas about that?"

"No, I just wanted to work out my plan," Kevin said.

"Want to use my plan? I've prepared it before." Lucia offered.

"Really? You've been thinking about this for a long time, why are you only telling me now?" Kevin sounded both pleased and surprised.

"Oh? I thought you wanted the child in your house, so I hesitated to propose this to you. I was afraid of making you angry," Lucia said.

"Angry? Why would I be angry with you? Don't you know the truth yet, or have you forgotten?"

Lucia smiled wryly. "Sorry Kevin, but I really don't know."

Lucia was deliberately provoking this conversation, she was just pretending not to know.

"Alright. Actually, the fetus that Rasha is carrying is not my child, it's her doing with another man. I'm so disappointed, I don't want to recognize that child as mine. Gosh, did you think all this time that I really got Rasha pregnant?"

Kevin's tone sounded a little disappointed, but Kevin was not angry with Lucia.

"Yeah, I thought that. I'm sorry, but I still love you. No matter what you do," Lucia said sweetly.

"Tsk, you can always make me melt. Well, you better tell me your plan soon."
