HAPTER 43~ FOR REVENGE

“Are yo~” He stumbled back holding onto his chest. “My session is over…this is the longest I can keep my control over this body. It’s too weak…I have to go…”

Sighing, she struggled to get him on her back, not because he was heavy, but because it was hard to relocate a limp body. She managed, but that didn’t stop her from frowning as she carried on deeper into the woods.

His body was putting pressure on her injured shoulder, she wouldn’t be able to get far like this, but she had to try. Jake would be suspicious if he found her with a naked Sathe covered in fae blood. She had to find them water where they both could wash what was supposed to be a secret off of them.

However, even with the determination, she didn’t get far enough, she had to stop when the pain got too much…and still, she had to change forms in order to keep Sathe warm when the evening
