Chapter # 23

“I regret that I ever loved you, I regret that I died for you, I regret each memory I shared with you.” He continued to pour his heartfelt wishes.

“Those times when I offered my breaths, pray for you. I hate all of them. I wish I could rip them from my core.”

Her eyes widened in appall. She didn’t know he didn’t mean any of those words and yet it shattered her.

“I wish I could kill our memories, our past, our bond.”

Me too. Her lips parted to pursue two words but she couldn’t.

Before his outburst of emotions, she released a tear of anguish, eyes widened in disbelief, lips quivering.

“And I-” He immediately stopped when he saw the tear in her eyes, mouth gaped, trying to perceive but paused simply.

“Then leave my life forever. Leave my streets and never return to me.” She managed to speak.

Her voice was even lower than a whisper, she lost her strength to argue at this point.

“Why are you still here? If my presence is such a nuisance, if you hate me then why are you here?” She asked.
