CHAPTER 31 – Dinner with Minerva
“Just ask your father about it” he said as if bored.
Both Aaron and Tiff have left but Celine was still in shock.
Daniel will have a date with Tiff?
Her heart started beating fast again.
She wanted to confirm with Daniel when her phone rang.
She took a deep breath before answering the call.
“Mother” she said weakly.
“Okay, I’ll be there”
She’s not in the mood to see Daniel right now.
She just sent him a short message then waited for her cab.
‘Dinner @ mother’s place. Don’t wait for me’
“Hi baby” Minerva attempted to kiss her when she reached their old house but her lips did not touch her cheeks.
Nothing has changed, she thought.
This is the same woman who had asked her to shower first before kissing her mother because she came from outside and she would dirty her dress.
Who would do that to her own child
