"That's my girl," Mike whispered and dropped a kiss into her hair. That caught the attention of both the woman and his father.
"Mike! It is so good to see you!", The other woman said as she moved forward having given the bundle to Mike's father. Mike grunted in response. "And well, well, what do we have here?"
Lori looked at the woman in front of her as she was being sized up. "I am Lori Johnson.", She quickly said as she put out her hand. The woman looked at her like she had grown a second head.

Mike stared at the ceiling as he felt the small weight settle onto the right side of his chest. His arms were draped over her as she slept soundly in her favorite spot it seemed. He needed her there. When he saw, she was ready, and he had packed up what was left of the food and clothes he had bought he led her to the car and helped her in. She looked at her phone but decided that it was best if she left it off for a little while instead laying her head back and closing her eyes. She didn't think she would hate going back to real life instead of her idyllic vacation, but a part of her didn't want to go back at all. The other part wanted nothing more than to go back and try to see what this thing with Mike was really. She was trying not to dissect everything instead just enjoy the feeling of what was blooming around them.
