Sitting grumpily in his chair, Marcus was too overwhelmed with fatigue to be able to savor the ugly expression on Britney’s face. His mind and heart were racing after receiving news about the attempted rape, though he was concerned for the wellbeing of Erika, he was even more worried for Rose. So, he kept on furiously texting Hazel, Lisa and Randy wanting to get every bit of detail. He hated the fact that he couldn’t be there to comfort the girl he liked. Unfortunately, the gang was occupied in their own troublesome world to give regular updates, all he got was a yes or no answer from Lisa and was asked to stay put.
