    “Sir your son is here.” Derick informed the man completely occupied in front of the computer screen, mouthing something under his breath as his slender fingers stroked one key after another, paying little to no attention to the presence of the two standing before him.

    “Father, what is it that you need?” Jeremy asked calmly not bothering to make himself comfortable by taking a seat. On his way from school his mind kept wondering around in circles, trying to both figure out what his dad wanted and how to convince him to cancel the business marriage agreement made with Phillip Hudson.

     “Derick, you may leave.” Without pausing his actions, Thomas instructed as if he hadn’t heard a thing. However, as soon as the room was clear, leaving the duo to privately discuss their family matters. The man stopped his typing, clenched his fingers into a fist, huffed a few times before fi
