“Dude what happened to you yesterday? You disappeared after practice.” Marcus complained instantly as he saw his friend stepping closer to his direction at the entrance of the school’s building.
“I don’t want to talk about it.” Jeremy scuffed in annoyance recalling the conversation between him and his dad. He thought it didn’t matter what nonsense and ridiculous threats the latter issued since he won’t actually be that cruel to the woman he loved, to Patricia Adams. Unfortunately, Thomas felt like he was too close to success to fail now. So, he rudely warned Chelsey to keep her brother in check or else his next target would be their mother.
“Sheesh, who burst your bubble early in the morning?” Anger could clearly be seen on his best friend’s face.
“Why are you so gossipy? can’t you mind your own business for once, and leave me the hell alone!”
